Lodi unified school district needs to get their priorities straight.

Very cool that Lodi kids are being fed nutritious Lodi peaches! Canned food is the most sustainable way to eat produce 10 out of 12 months of the year

I agree they need more time to eat their lunch

Unfortunately what parents and I guess the superintendent does not know is that there is tremendous waste because the children have only 10 minutes to eat this food and most of it gets dumped in the garbage because they don't get enough time to eat. Especially the little kids. I know first hand for a FACT this is happening at Borchart elementary school right now every day

Just make sure these teachers are putting kids in the hard corners a video was leaked of Lodi High during the lockdown on Facebook. The kids were sitting ducks in front of the windows under the open front desks. Each drill should be treated like real-world so the students know exactly what to do and teacher too. That video showed just how unprepared some of the faculty is. I am a Lodi USD mom and soon to be educator. I have done a lot of research to ensure I am protecting my future students to the highest degree. LUSD, please address this concern at EVERY school in your district. It is vital. Thank you for keeping our concerns a top priority.

This is why I'd like having phones in School, of course not during class room time! In this case, I would want my child to be able to keep in contact with me, for me to be able to contact them! In the times where we were able to carry hunting rifles in the back of our pick up trucks, to now! We need to focus more on the actual problem. For instance mental healthy, lack of at least one parent at home, lack of accountability to our kids and the parents, Lack of teaching our kids morals, character, and having Jesus!
