We were at CardCon for the Dutch Open at the Jaarbeursplein Convention Center in Utrecht, The Netherlands on Saturday, November 9th 2024. I filmed a few niche deck profiles of some players that had interesting decks. However, most of the players that topped at this event wanted to hold off on the deck profiles to keep a bit of mystery before YCS in Bologna Italy later this month. Shout-out to L...

On November 6th, 2024 I purchased a booster box from an official OTS store here in The Netherlands. The store was called Spel en Meer. It's one of the most impressive card shops I've been to in Europe in terms of atmosphere and product selection as well as tournament variety and community. I'd highly suggest checking them out if you are ever in Zoetermeer. I got really really good ratios. It se...

Really cool duel! Branded and Labrynth have both been pretty good and fan favorites for so long!
Thanks for giving this deck profile! It's really exciting to see Rescue-ACE still see play. Congrats on the result!
I like Silhouhatte Rabbit in the extra deck! Congrats on the result!
Wow! I love to see Blackwings played in the modern day. Very nostalgic. Thank you both for the deck profile!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! There's more to come. I'm on my way to Bologna now for the YCS and fingers crossed I get some cool deck profiles!
@@YGOWorldWide I'm jealous! Best of luck! I'm subscribed, so I look forward to getting those updates as they come in!
"This is an abomination of a deck I created in a lab" whenever a deck profile starts like that, you *know* it's gonna be a banger haha. Thanks for the profile and congrats on the result! Question, what do you think of the Astellar vs Elzette ratio? I ask because Astellar is crazy, but I find it can end your turns when it gets interrupted, while Elzette lets you keep playing a decent amount. Also on the Rollback bit - since you're already at 47 cards, have you considered throwing in a Thrust/Grass package? Being able to rollback Woes and the other traps sounds good. ...Plus Grass is cheap as hell now and Thrust is finally cheaper, which is my real reason for thinking that could be fun to lab that out.
I could ask Steven to respond on this post. I'm not sure what his thoughts are.
Side deck?
My apologies for skipping the side deck. After I turned off the camera he said that the side deck is personal preference after all. I'll be sure to get the side decks of future players interviewed!
what about side deck?
He didn't feel like sharing it. He says it's personal preference. However, the list may or may not be on ygoprodeck(dot)com as well.
Bro cooked waaay to much and it's fuckin' delicious!
Chef Wu certified 👨🍳
I am a chef who runs a Michelin-starred restaurant and can thus confirm that bro did, indeed, cook.
😂😂😂 That's what I'm saying!!
bro thats a guy
bro put on nail polish and called it a day

Bro.. The paw patrol mat, you know this man ain't playin' around
@@kowalzkiog7177 😂 exactly!
I pulled a QCR Heavy Storm! Great set! Last year I never thought I'd be pulling Bonfire, Thrust, and an S:P from a pack! Crazy! Konami cooked with this one.
I also personally really like how the nostalgia cards were implemented!
Sounds like you got some nice pulls! Congrats!!
Bro cooked! I like seeing the Azamina stuff tried some different ways.
Yeah I was impressed it was a clean 40 card deck as well.
Fascinating ideas! Really unique strategy here. 🤔
Dude, thats snake eye azamina , but great deck list im building similar
Where are the Snake-Eyes cards? This list doesn't play them!
He's basically playing pure! With Azamina engine no snake eyes 👀
@@YGOWorldWide yeaa true , I forgot diabellstar isn't snake eye, I bundle her in with all that lol but yea I'm trying to figure which version is better, I do like playing the fire king side of the deck more tbh
Is that vanguard world champion MusraxVg?????
That's him!
Hey, it's Emily also from that regional. Dave didn't get third, Thomas did. Dave went 3-3 drop
Yes, that's correct! I reposted this video and changed the title and description of the video explaining that we filmed the profile at the Antwerp event, but it's a deck profile of his Antwerp deck, which has only minor changes from his Spijkenisse deck list. Regardless, his insights and knowledge of the deck and as a player is the main focus of the video. My apologies for the confusing title. I'll be taking down this specific posted video from UA-cam.
I'll be posting your deck profile in the next coming days Emily! We missed you at Eindhoven last weekend. Hope to see you soon 😊
@@YGOWorldWide couldn't really make it to the Eindhoven regional. I will be going to the Dutch open this Saturday in Utrecht tho
Yeah, I love Centur-ION in the Fuwalos format! Great work, congrats on the result!
just say you played Jesse Kottons YCS niagra list with a few changes in the side deck
they said that at the end of the profile :)
They admit that at the beginning 💯
Ju jo ja
nice sleeves 👀
No cross out with those handtrap ratios makes no sense
Sucks as 6th and engine can already push through them, you'd rather another good engine, non engine piece
they explain the handtrap ratios literally a minute into the video
It seemed to work for them because they got 1st and second place.
That’s some expensive children’s cardboard
wtf are those raritys :D
😂😂
Bro was really SLAPPING those high rarity cards like that
No shame 😆
I think it's fine if they're double sleeved!
So no Crossout? Talents instead.
I feel like i just watched Jesse's deck profile but the side deck was a little different.
same
That's pretty accurate!
Really clean list! Congrats!
They really popped off at this regionals! They literally played eachother in the mirror match round 6 at the top table. It was badass to watch in person!
How do u end with flamberge+n38?
Great deck profile! Really interesting to watch the format develop. I'll be subscribing for more in the future!
Thanks! This format is HYPE!! YU-GI-OH in 2024 is so fun. Appreciate the sub 🤙
I wish you would've asked if he ever got cut off from a play he really wanted to do while being under impulse but couldn't
I made the deck with Conor. What I can tell you is that we both found Impulse to be the best handtrap in the deck. The only way it could conflict with anything was drawing a light or wind handtrap (like veiler, ogre, droll) later on in the grind game, but we would always try to keep Impulse for as long as possible. Impulse is super oppressive at later stages of the game. It technically conflicts with Hope Harbinger, but hope harbinger is only made when you full combo going first, at which point you can easily just wait with Impulse until after you resolve Hope Harbinger. Another card in the extra it conflicts with is Selene, but because Selene actually rarely comes up (he summoned it only once the event and it wasn't necessary at all), it's a possible cut either way.
I'll be sure to ask those types of questions in future videos. Let's build the Yu-Gi-Oh community and make the average player in the player base better and better through learning more from top performing players!
