This is such GARBAGE. OAS decreases if your yearly income increases over $81,761.00. OAS is calculated quarterly and will increase 0.7% this quarter July - September 2024.

Being frugal and saving for my retirement, I am now punished for "making too much money". I receive no OAS at all due to clawback. I'm widowed, so if my wife and I had separate incomes, we would been below the clawback. But being single, I have no income splitting and all the RRSPs and other investments are taxed all to one single people. I really don't mind paying the tax, but it seems so unfair to strip my of my OAS as Canadian taxpayer from the age 18.

Better off just doing a Google search or log on to My Services Canada. This is just a dull bot read. Most of it dated material.
