Great stuff! I used to listen to the version of this on Michael Brecker's Tales from the Hudson, driving the kids to soccer in the 1990's. An all-time favorite, beautifully rendered here.

Starting around 6:08, a medley of other SD tunes commences: Fire in the Hole, Boston Rag, Any Major Dude, Your Gold Teeth II, Sign in Stranger, Gaucho, Gaslighting Abbie, Green Book. There is one more between Sign In and Gaucho that so far I cannot positively identify. I'll eventually get it, I am sure. Great snippets of these songs. Well done!

I’m awestruck…

This makes me wish Bill Evans and Jim Hall had gone into the studio for a 3rd duet album around 1968 and just played Wayne Shorter tunes for an hour. Someone make a record based on this idea!
