Which Generator are people using? I am not finding an inverter generator which has the big 4 prong plug receiver for the L14-30 I have coming out of my SH2. Generator brand, model? That isn't 6000$
The 30A L5-30 is a very standard connector. If EcoFlow didn't have what you were looking for try these very reputable vendors... Bluetti at bit.ly/4fDx2Ba Anker at shrsl.com/4pplo Jackery at bit.ly/3YCiw5Y
Thank you!
I watched this in full screen on a 2560x1440 display and everything was readable.
if you are watching it on aniPhone then, yes the printing is small, but you can only put so much in a small space. I would suggest watching it on the computer screen as the printing will be more than.
Would have watched more than 30 seconds if it had been readable.

Most challenging to even instructors of electrician or automotive electrical instructors. Well done indeed for breaking down 2 pieces! Serial & pareall is most difficult to master!
Thank you sir. You help me a lot.
I'm studying for my MSHA surface test and have no experience with the ZZT. This video made it much easier to understand than the study guide. Thanks!
Hi, excuse an irrelevant question, is household neutral ground bonding connection made before the electricity counter, or in some cases maybe done in multiple points, thanks 🙏
Thank you

Now that is interesting. Tell me a little bit more about yourself including where you are located. Please feel free to use my direct email address…graham.vanbrunt@gmail.com
Hi sir, lot of good information thanks . Can I connect a diesel gen and make it to turn on and power the house when delta pro goes low or fully discharge?
Yes… the Ecoflow Smart Home Panel 2 does just that. The panel has two major connection ports 1) for connection to the the utility grid and 2) for connection to a standby generator. The automatic start up of the standby generator, gas or diesel, depends on its manufacture and making sure that it has that function to start up. Once it does that Ecoflow Smart Home Panel 2 will automatically switch over to the standby generator or back to utility which ever you have selected. To find out more about the Ecoflow Smart Home Panel 2 go to this website, bit.ly/4aPDX77 Going to this website has special discounts as well as informative information. To find out more about the Ecoflow Smart Home Panel 2… click on “Product Series” then select Ecoflow Smart Home Panel 2…that page will give you a lot of information that will answer all of your questions about this product. I hope this helps be sure and use this web address as it contains special discounts if you are ordering any of the products. Good luck
@@pspt thanks for your swift response. Can you elaborate more on how the signal to start de stand by gen comes from the Delta battery?
When the standby generator senses the loss of supply power from the Delta battery it will automatically start (if it has that option). The change-over switch on the home power 2 must be selected for the standby generator. The home will experience a momentary loss of power while this happens.
@@pspt ok thanks! Is there a solution for automatically go back to grid when grid power is available? What Im looking is for that triple backup; grid go off , switch to battery , when battery drains go to generator, when grid is back switch to grid and turn off de generator? Or Im being too ambitious?
@@omarpellot2065 Now you're getting into a highly specialized situation...the Home Panel 2 has a manual interlock that must be selected for either grid or standby (diesel) power. You have to choose one or the other for safety reasons. It is a manual interlock that is a break before make condition that Will not allow power to be switched back into the grid from auxiliary power sources.
All you need to know about hysteresis is the thinner the loop the less the energy loss, due to heat. Is there a manufacturer of silicon steel alloys, for power transformer cores that publishes a datasheet with a hysteresis cure, or plot? Don't think so.
IMO...more content... less B.S. ... and some practice... and you could get more subscribers.
Sounds like a machine talking to me. Immediately left.
Yeah this is becoming so common and I don't understand why they wouldn't just narrate themselves or at least use a more realistic voice bot.
The quick answer is yes…depending on what you mean by the word “stabilize”
Hi, so capacitors stabilise voltage , and inductors stabilise current is this correct
I am seeing users on reddit having problems with the SHP 2 reliability and service. relay failures and error messages that shut down the panel with long delays in getting service. Is there a way to setup these smart panels but still be able to use the original subpanel without any delays?
The quick answer is yes absolutely. When connecting the smart home panel 2, the load wire connections can be made in the existing panel and the load breakers that were used can be left in place for a quick reconnect if there is trouble. Having said that, all of the breakers in the Smart Home Panel 2 can be manually switched just by toggling the breaker switches. If for some reason that doesn't work (due to a failed breaker etc.), there exists 2 relay switching knobs that can manually switch the main power.
@@pspt Thank you. I appreciate the time you took to answer my question. best regards
I had a relay failure on circuit 10 same day as install was done smh
How did you fix the relay problem? How long did it take.
@@ernieburgos7702 I called tech support and they escalated it to the EcoFlow ware house. I had to send them proof of the defective smart panel 2 such as pictures and a video through email. It took them no longer than a day to respond that was Monday of 11/4/2024 . And they said that they would send me a new smart panel.Arriving today. And they will reimburse me for the Uninstall and reinstall. They also sent me a return barcode to send the defective one back. All this under warranty.
This video is about Buchozl Relays, not sinusoidal rms waves as the title implies.
A lot of physicists have produced UA-cam videos in the last 2 years that have disputed the idea that the explanation of electrons pushing electrons along in the wire solves the apparent contradiction between the drift electron speed and the speed of light propagation of electric charge. They all seem to agree that it's the surface charge that is set up at the speed of light which is responsible for the electric forces creating the current.
So the electricity if i am not mistaken, produce the work we want , and return to its neutral state which is ground, which mean zero movement of current and zero kinetic energy is this correct?
Yes
Thank you!
Thank you very much
I have this system on order and currently waiting for delivery. A question I have that's not been addressed to my satisfaction by EcoFlow support pertains to the 2 transfer switches located near the top of the panel on each phase. Are those mechanically coupled switches that actually change state when operated by hand? My reason for asking is if I move the most critical circuits for my home into this panel and there's a problem with those automated transfer switches, I would be without power for at least the circuits on that phase in the panel. EcoFlow support has told me if they fail their state cannot be changed by manually moving the switches suggesting they are just an electrical switch controlling a relay. Thanks
Hi Robert... The two breakers that you are talking about may be considered transfer switches although they are better described as double pole single throw breakers that bring energy from either the grid to your critical circuits or from another source such as a gas generator. There is one breaker for each supply. For safety reasons, these breakers cannot be switched on both at the same time. In order to prevent this from happening there is a mechanical slider that prevents both from being turned on at the same time but does allow one or the other to be switched on depending on whether you slide it up or down. When both breakers are in the off position the slider is free to move up or down allowing you to turn one or the other on but not both. I hope this answers your question. It is easier to explain if I was allowed to include graphics in this reply but I can only do that with direct mail.
Post your questions on Ecoflow Delta series on Facebook. There are many contributors that answer questions. If you do post a question, you should state your DPU/SHP2 issues with pictures if possible. The circuit breakers you are asking about are usually 100 amp (grid from main panel) 30 amp breaker for your inverter generator to charge the batteries and run your outlets at the same time. Hope this helps.
@@hlm34 Thanks for the reply but I installed the DPU with a Reliance 10 circuit transfer switch instead and returned the SHP2. I didn't have confidence in the panel after reading several owner posts about relay failures. IMHO EF needed to incorporate a simple mechanical means of isolating the SHP2 in the event of a panel fault so one could still keep their critical circuits operating while waiting for parts or a panel replacement. I read a few stories of people waiting for replacement panels and then an expensive nightmare to retrofit.
@ I had my SHP2 installed by an electrician. Very costly, but it works as intended. Im never home when the power is out and that’s the reason I chose the SHP2. We’ve had 5 power outages since the July install. The only way my family knows there’s an outage is when the internet goes out. The SHP2 charges the batteries daily, the batteries are automatically charged if there’s a storm coming. The other reason is my family are not “hands on” when it comes to a manual panel. They would wait on me. The manual panel will be my next adventure when I retire in a few years, if not sooner. That FB group is good to join even if you have the manual panel. There isn’t much they can’t handle except returns and RMA’s.
@@hlm34 I understand and I'm happy to hear it works as intended for you. We have so few power outages that it's not an issue like it is for you and being retired, I'm pretty much always home to do it manually. The SHP2 has great features and capabilities, I just wish I could've developed more confidence with it.
Hi sir, is this ac power frequency dependent or it's irrelevant 🤔
The quick answer is frequency is irrelevant. Having said that when considering average power it is usually significant in the realms of the power industry such as utilities where frequency is usually 50 or 60 Hz.
Hi sir, so the free electrons pushes each other and that creates the current, is this effect happening in the speed of light, inside the conductor
In very simple terms, this is what is happening.
But it costs so much money for the 3 generators and 5 batteries each. That's an extremely amount of money. It takes a long time to come with that money or I'll buy six of them
Hi, sorry for the nivenes, is the earth current alternating on ground when it's leaking from the neutral bonding, and how long it takes to fade out.
I am truly sorry but I do not understand your question. Please try rewording it and I will endeavour to get you an answer.
@@psptyes sorry, I am wondering if there is a leak of electricity, on a 220 volt power grid, what form the current will have on the ground i mean the soil, will be there as alternating form, and how long it needs to fade out on the soil, sorry for my naive question, I am trying to understand the ground portion of this
@@Bias_Prineus I have to apologize in advance, as there is never simple answers to what current is flowing when there is a leak. In order to answer that question a multitude of variables are coming into play... Such as ground resistant, the short to ground resistance, what other potentials might be in play at groundlevel,. Ground fault studies are courses in themselves. Again I apologize for the vague answer but I do not have a simple answer to your question.
Bonjour lorsque il pleut pendant toute la journée je n'aurai pas d'électricité ??????
Thanks for wonderful lecture!!! This video makes me to understand symmetrical components completely!
Hi can the transformers be separate, or they must have the same cores?
They can be separate although the only zigzag transformers that I encountered were on the same core. That is they were a transformer bank not individual transformers. However, theoretically you can do this with individual transformers in fact you could use six individual transformers and connect them why zigzag although I've never seen it done but, theoretically it is possible.
Thanks for the video. Studying for Power PE exam and this helps out a lot understanding the relationship between each phase.
Thank you for this information.

I don't think you realize how much of a life saver you are, appreciate it man.
This is too reliable, too simple and too safe for American installations. No, they should continue to mess with wire nuts and keep stumbling over loose connections. This is only good for Europe. Any layman could do this very easily. I don't begrudge them such a good solution. Now don't be jealous of that ! Don't believe me and try it yourself !
Even with a Wago I still use wire ferrules on stranded wires smaller than 18 gauge.
