I am looking forward to next week for the rest of the revelation!!! About a week ago I came across this passage, and was confused to who Jesus was referring to for the church to be built upon. Like you mentioned some say Jesus is the rock and some say it’s Peter He was referring to. This new revelation is also making sense as you are taking as back through scriptures. I love how both the New Testament and Old Testament ties in together and it’s not one or other. For some reason, as you were explaining, I feel like the rock Christ was referring to is “The Revelation” that transpired. Meaning the knowledge of the Word. Now that the disciples are aware of Him, and He is the Word, then the foundation is laid to spread the gospel and save souls.

Hi Sir. (I believe flesh=body) JOHN 1:1&14 1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 14. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. I believe this means God became a body and we were able to dwell with him. Lastly the first thing that Genesis introduces to us is God & the Spirit of God. All this were made by God even the Soul became the Soul because of breath of life from God. Without a breath of life Soul will not become a living being therefore the important thing God gave us is breath not a Soul. Now whether that breath of life is a Spirit or not, a Man is that breath because it gave him life. Personally I do believe that breath is the Spirit of God or God himself because Genesis tells us that all things were made by God and Spirit of God. We all know that God, Son, and Holy Spirit is 1. God and Spirit of God is the foundation of all, Soul can not come with the Spirit of God inside but the Spirit of God have to be the foundation that create the Soul. Thank you.
