How to Deal with Academic Stress and Burnout? 5 Methods of Being More Productive.
1. Introduction (1-2 minutes)
Opening Scene: Show a stressed student or researcher at their desk.
Voiceover/Host Introduction:
Define burnout briefly: "A state of exhaustion caused by prolonged academic stress."
Hook: "In this video, we’ll cover how to identify burnout and simple strategies to deal with it effectively."
2. Recognizing Burnout (2-3 minutes)
Key Symptoms:
Physical: Fatigue, headaches.
Emotional: Overwhelm, lack of motivation.
Behavioral: Procrastination, decreased productivity.
Quick Example: A student feels tired despite sleeping enough and avoids coursework.
Tip for Viewers: Reflect on your own symptoms while watching.
3. Common Causes (2-3 minutes)
1-Minute Summary:
Workload: Too much to handle.
Lack of Control: Limited say in academic decisions.
Isolation: Working alone for long periods.
Perfectionism: Fear of failure leading to overwork.
Scenario: A researcher rewriting a paper repeatedly to make it “perfect” and missing deadlines.
4. Practical Solutions (6-7 minutes)
1. Time Management:
Use tools like Pomodoro or Notion.
Example: Work in 25-minute bursts with short breaks.
2. Set Realistic Goals:
Break big tasks into smaller steps.
Example: "Write 300 words daily" instead of "Finish the paper."
3. Take Breaks:
Regular short breaks and longer ones for hobbies or rest.
Example: A 10-minute walk after every study session.
4. Seek Support:
Talk to friends, family, or mentors.
Example: A PhD student gets an extension after explaining stress to their supervisor.
5. Mindfulness & Relaxation:
Practice breathing exercises or journaling.
Demonstrate: A 1-minute guided breathing activity.
5. Real-Life Story (1-2 minutes)
Example: A student struggling with burnout found relief by joining a study group and using the Pomodoro technique.
Encouragement: Highlight that small steps can make a big difference.
6. Conclusion (1-2 minutes)
Key Takeaways: Recognize burnout, manage time effectively, and prioritize self-care.
Motivational Note:
“Remember, burnout is a sign to take care of yourself, not to give up.”
Call to Action: Invite viewers to share their own experiences and strategies in the comments, and subscribe for more content.

Thank you sir.
Sir can we write in the both sides of a4 pages? Or just in one side?
@@আব্বুলিশ both sides for English
@AritraBasu But sir i did it just in one side of the page.. Will it be granted? Or I've to change it all? 🥲
This video is exactly what I needed! Lately, I've been struggling with procrastination and missing deadlines. Thank you, it's really helpful!
Very informative. Need more videos related to this Sir. 😊

Such an informative video on this crucial topic. Thank you so much sir. ☺️🙏🏼
@@oindriladuttagupta you’re welcome
Tons of thanks to you from the bottom of my heart sir !! 🙏🙏 you are a lighthouse to thousands of NET aspirants caught in the storm of misunderstanding and confusion created by cheap journalism . We are again motivated to study harder for this national level exam.
Thank you so much for the kind words. You’re welcome. Keep up the hard work. It will pay off.
Probably the only sensible video on this topic. What about the candidates who've done their PhD recently but haven't qualified NET? I see so many people without NET, who've done their PhDs from private or State Universities applying for the post of Assistant Professor( at lest here in Uttarakhand). Not to generalise but they usually lack the basic knowledge and are quite incompetent to teach. Won't they get any benefit from the recent changes? If that happens it will be quite tragic.
People with PhD but no NET will be in serious trouble if this actually comes in reality. I’m not sure how it will impact them. Only if they clear NET will they be at an advantage.
Thank you sir

There is one more where English Literature students can go, the field of translation and interpreter. Interpreter posts are there in Lok Sabha. Translator posts are there in almost every university, PSU and ministries.
