Always approach feral cats in a trap with a towel and cover it immediately. It calms them. They are terrified of humans and the cover calms them.

Dude. Next time put a blanket over the cage and stop yelling at them. You made 10x worse.

Next time, if there is one, soon after the door is closed and the cat/s is trapped, do the more humane thing and throw a dark blanket over the cage to calm them down, otherwise the cat/s could be harmed trying to get out. This is painful to watch them struggle to get out. Telling them to calm down obviously will not help.

Mama slammed her face pretty hard on the back of the cage. That has got to hurt. It looks like it stunned her for a minute. Next time, drape a blanket over part of the cage and when door drops down completely cover the cage. The sound of the metal door slamming is what freaked them out.

The mother cat is beautiful. She looks like a Bombay breed. Her kittens are fluffy little cuties...you have fed them quite well as they are plumpy dumpy's.....lol.
