I love that he cups his hand to his ear. I started doing that to hear myself sing along to music I was blaring in my room as a kid. When I would sing as a kid people would say I couldn't, but I kept trying by myself. Now whenever I do sing in front of anyone they tell me I can sing. So keep singing if you want to sing. It's a muscle and you can work it out.
