Why see a lot of people seeing all the guys there as a bunch of straight-laced princes with no personality, just because that's how Leona and Ruggie described them in book 3, is something I'll never understand, especially the part that these people seem to ignore is that the first guy who studies there that we met, is the same guy who wears his uniform in a casual and stylized way, leaves school (perhaps without the knowledge of others) to go to the other side of the island, to invade the rival school who has a bad temper, just to eat his friend's homemade sweets, loves to scare others with his magic, is based on a character who, in addition to being neutral in the film, joined the Disney Villains brand, and who now we discover that in Trey's vision, he could pull down his childhood friend's pants in front of the others in a duel.

I honestly can’t believe that Riddle was rather cold towards Trey and that not even Riddle picked him as vice dorm leader. I mentioned in a comment under Fleurism’s video that, involving Riddle and Trey’s bond, this was expected and unexpected because there were moments that I noticed about their bond that raised my eyebrows. I guess this could be why.

I feel like we r forgetting the fact that riddle dismissing Trey when he enrolled could be cuz he wanted to keep his distance with Trey after what happened when they were kids..it was probably a way to protect him after Mrs. rosehearts traumatized Trey and the clover family.🤷

So Trey was not only traumatized by THE ANGRY Riddle mama but also by Riddle himself acting cold and not even choosing him as vicehousewarden (I know it's his choice to make it to the students to decide themeselves but still..) It hurts more when you see Trey talks about it lightly as if he didn't get hurt at all, boy is totally supressing himself and sugar coating things that even his UM is saying it.
