Co-Hosts Amanda Silver and Alex Howard are talking all things Divorce. With a strong belief in ditching the stigma and bringing information to the masses, they are on a mission to normalize separation/divorce and bring some levity to this difficult process.
This week on the DL: Hold the Calm
An exciting episode for those of you struggling to keep your cool during your divorce, or, quite frankly, in any sort of human interaction! As we know, where there are people, there will be conflict.
This week's special guest, Hesha Abrams, discusses her new book "Holding the Calm" and gives the A team and listeners tangible tools to master conflict resolution to take back their power.
These tools are great not only for romantic partnerships, but also work well at the office, with your kids, your in-laws or anyone else you may interact with on a daily basis!

Divorce Dilemma: Who Keeps the Embryo in the Divorce? Dirty Laundry Podcast
Hello, thanks for this great podcast with such great insights of what’s really happening in this situation with a PN. It would be great to promote this content on Dr. Kerry McAvoy’s channel or that of Dr. Les Carters
Yes, don’t trust the professionals that have trained and taken school in order to provide a service. Trust yourself after some googling 💀
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Rest easy Ms. Freddy White Socks
😿💖
They either do, or don't 50/50
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Give the moms a break! Love this
So true, when they know they got you they start acting like as*holes
Terrifying! That is why we must keep talking to each other and sharing our experiences and knowledge to protect one another 🙏
Research and believe the red flags that you see! The first red flag for my last narcissistic relationship came at around the 3 month mark. Take your time in trusting someone
I just spoke with a possible match over the phone. Ehhh, didn’t feel right. Usually, people are trying to put their best foot forward, if they’re interested and normal. But, this guy sounded so much like he was reclined, deep in a chair. It was almost way too relaxed. Was glad I used a burner number.
@@privateprivate8366 I'm glad you called and had the opportunity to hear that before meeting up with him. Narcissists are often way too cocky and relaxed with their dates. We mean nothing to them as people, and they're overconfident in their abilities. It's all compensation to prove to themselves that they're superior. If something doesn't seem right, trust your gut 👍
Such good advice - there is no rush, take your time!
Burner number! Great tip!! 🙌
You haven't met the person. Behind the "MASK" until it cracks!!
And when it cracks, watch out!
Big vibes. Carrying snacks in case she'd snap and start some kind of drama. Like managing a toddler.
As Kate Anthony said in our other episode - not your fu*king job! Thanks for sharing
The intro story is hilarious!
Way to go Amanda! Solo episode and my girl crushed it!!
This was so fun! #sisters #podcast #divorce #healthyrelationships
We all LOVE @drbecky
This is such a great insight!
That Advice is not gonna help.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Can we ask why you didn't find it helpful?

As a child of parental alienation, and now a parent who is on the receiving end of it, I can tell you that NO-ONE is capable of perceiving or understanding the damaging effects it can have, unless they, or someone close to them, have experienced it first hand. Making an effort to invalidate or discredit the VICTIMS in these situations, is the same as doing it to any victims of abuse and is completely careless. You should be ashamed. Thank god this has so few views. Do some more research before putting out such trash content
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Sorry to hear you've experienced this first hand. We actually think you're arguing the same point as us - additional harm to the victims, and more importantly the children.
@@DirtyLaundryPodcast Here’s an idea, instead of having such a poorly biased discussion on the topic, perhaps you should invite someone who is a professional on the other side of the issue to offer insight and facts into the conversation. 🤷♂️
@@growingatale great idea! thanks for that suggestion 🙏
fathers are useless. alone mother is best for children. Fathers should not have any rights over Childs at all, period. word alienation should be illegal.
Not always, but thanks for sharing your thoughts!
@@DirtyLaundryPodcast thats not my thought rather sarcasm. I am stunned that some people even so emboldened that they want to legalize parental alienation. meaning of alienation mean one parent using child to go against other parent to alienate him/her from the child of life. The lady with glass seems dangerous for life of million of child.
@@saibalghosh-t5c The lady with the glasses (Suzanne Zaccour) is arguing to get rid of parental alienation!
'promo sm'
Such a big question!
ITS NOT YOUR FUCKING JOB!!!! Yessssss
The best 🙌
THIS IS BRILLIANT! doesn't even matter if you're getting divorced, every woman should listen to this!!

Great tips on how not to suck at #divorce
Andrea's ability to make divorce funny gets us every time!
Thank you Jodi! We are so beyond grateful for your honesty, vulnerability and willingness to support others looking for their peace.
One of our favourite conversations yet!
Hate to disagree with you, but I have been married to my wife for 35 years. We both have worked full-time jobs, and I have always helped with the domestic labor. The majority of my male friends do the same at their homes.
Thanks for your insight - so happy to hear that the norm seems to be shifting!
Decisions, decisions... 🤔
