Is that a regular adjustment lever or the XL version?
This is the regular one.
The big nut holding on the legs is now a large torx head, not a 1/4” Allen head. Can you tell me what size torx that is? It is larger than my biggest one which is torx 30.

That actually belongs to the photographer. He probably had some custom work done to it.

I own three of the Accu-tac now and they are worth every penny. For those of you that are on the fence because of the cost, just do it. These last forever and you won't belive the build quality.
Is the PodLoc designed to be disassembled as a standard practice to adjust tension?
Not at all, to tighten or loosen just turn it. If you hit a stop with the mount and it is not the desired tension justs pop out the lever from the socket it sits in, reposition it the opposite way, let it go and let it sit back in position and continue to adjust the tension.
Can you put an area 419 arcalock clamp on the bipod?
If it has the picatinny adapter connection design underneath, you should have no problem.

@@vincentsmith4328 If you want to use an after market mount for the Picatinny style bipod, it has to have a way to mount which would be a rail under the mount.
Area 419 uses 17s mounting system. I don’t think they are comparable.
I wish you sold the picatinny mount to convert an existing arca.

Why would you want to or need to remove the lever? Oh if you want to change the mount system say from picatinny to arca for example you have to remove the lever first. I see.

You could also use the lever to make the adjustment instead of the bolt head

Is there rocksett or loctite on the main 3/16 Allen bolt? I’m doing the reverse switching the Arca to 1913
Hello Steve, there is no loc tite on the bipod. Try using a tool to manually loosen and break the bind.

Depending on your shooting style, the SR-5 G2 or WB-5 models would be ideal.

Just tried to put mine on my 7mm Rem Mag. Remington model 700 doesn't work at all. Doesn't fit snug. Very loose and it's as tight as i can get it. 370 dollar paper weight, yaay

I've got a new PC-4 and there is a ton of grease working it's way out the top of the pan mechanism... I'm wiping it off as I use the bipod... But I'm concerned about dirt and debris when in the field. Should I strip it and relive? Looking at this vid the oring should have kept all the grease inside the mechanism?
Hi Ryan, correct no grease should be coming out from the panning hub. the center panning hub has 2 seals please take it apart and make sure the 2 seals are installed. if incase the top seal is missing please call us and we will send you a set right away. please let us know what you find. the panning hub does not require a lot of grease just enough to keep it wet.
@@felipesalazar6814 Hi Felipe, I'm down in Australia... Or else I'd have called. Thanks for the reply. I took it apart and there seemed to be grease above the top o-ring, cleaned that up and left it as is. Seems to have fixed 90% of the grease migration at this stage. One thing I note, and I think this is just the design of the panning hub, its glass smooth unloaded, but when my Tikka is attached to the bipod and on the bench it's quite chalky to pan with... Not jerky or sticking, just quite a course/chalky pan feel through the gun. I assume this is normal, just part of the pressure applied to two machined metal parts?
@@Sisu2280 Hello Ryan, yes all the grease should be below the top o-ring. the chalky feel you are feeling should go away as you use it. the two matting surfaces will start to smooth out over time. it's the hard anodize what causes that feel. a thick grease can also help eliminate that feel. accu-tac is always here to help so keep us posted if this matter gets worst ok.

When are you going to make a Arca conversion for the HD-50?
Our Arca Spec mount is compatible with the HD-50, if you own an HD-50 you can purchase it and swap out your mount.
Don’t see a option on your site. I see the G1-G2 conversion not compatible with the HD-50 and the Arca spec mount that’s only compatible with the G2. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated I’d purchase it. Been hoping it would be available at one point

My LR-10 needs to be upgraded to the fictional PC-10...
HAHAHA I almost missed that FICTIONAL part. The G2 series 5 legs are very tall now and can achieve a good height.

This will only work with an FC-5 QD or FC-10 QD. As shown in the video, it replaces the old panning hub, it does not adapt to other non panning models.
Do u know if I can change any of the legs on g1 or g2 bipods freely? Meaning switching any legs at all, I want to make it so my fc g2 bipod can have longer legs?
Yes, the legs are universal between all our hubs, except the HD-50. That is the only one it will not be compatible with.

The bipod arm has an internal extension to adjust the height.

Im worried about the semi exposed springs that allow the feet to retract. Do you think they are solid enough for hard use?
In all honesty we have not had one complain about any issues with the spring. You can repetatively retract the legs and the spring will stay in place. If you should ever have a problem you are backed up by lifetime warranty. All you need to do is call in or e-mail us 😉.

If you have a short magazine you can go for the BR-4, if you need more height or the option to be able to get extended height then I would suggest the SR-5.
