Hi Dave I have an imposing problem with chief. I can't seem find a way to convert my second floor to concrete. Chief ships with timber floor and I really need to change this in my design. I believe there's a way to achieve this but yet to know how, pls help. Nice video as always. Aspiring to be as good as you.

Will the polysolid pull into material list? Do you convert it to a beam or something latter?

Very interesting demonstration. I was curious to see if you have one similarly with the later version and the different engine now in use? I am using Home Designer Pro 2022 - and am having difficulties more so on external views using the PBR selections. Do you you have anything more recent? Thanks.

Hi Dave I am trying to create 2 seperate structures on one site terrain and I want to only make 1 of these structures a Double-storey and the leave the other one as a Single story. But when I "Build new floor" , CA builds extra floors on both structures. Is there video that indicates how to build a new floor on only 1 structure and leave the other as as single story. Thanks

Thanks for the kind words. I use Chief Architect to build the house, the lot, and most of the goodies inside, then use Lumion to render it, animate it, and dress up the outside with cars, trees, bushes, flowers, and even water features sometimes, then pack it into a fly-through movie. I'll add music and logos as needed and wrap it up in a UA-cam or MP3 video.

You have the best presentations on UA-cam by far. Not to mention incredible house designs. I’d love to know what programs you use. I use both revit and chief architect then render with lumion

What version of Chief Architect you were using

As long as we are fantasizing about our views from all the great windows that not only provide all the natural light...they might show us a horizon or a valley..or our neighbors RV...So why not put an atrium or a hidden television in a place you can watch while your relaxing in the bath tub.. maybe the best view from your kitchen when your pouring a glass of wine shouldnt be your drive way ...unless your car is that cool.....and it most likely is..and it will be synchronized with your fridge your media your maps and calendar so...your right...thats a good view..is this a 3D printable house.?..is this actually in garden grove? solar.? water collection for herb garden..? compostable refuse depositor near the sink that is gravity fed to the bin outside near that herb garden I mentioned...... sorry...the mind wanders when expanded.. nice house..👈 👏👌👍✌
