What screen protector did you go with.... and are you happy with it in this case?
I went with a Whitestonedome this time it sticks with adhesive, something I have not had a lot of success with, however this one went on simple. no glue, no UV light etc. there are one or two bubbles, but I don't see them while phone is on. It is a two pack so I still have one should I need it. it fits nicely with this years S24 Ultra being flat, but it is worth noting that the anti glare feature is gone with the application. I have heard Samsung makes one anti glare, but it is hard to install, not sure but this one was a snap to install. Can you put a camera protector using dbrand case
There is a little bit of room, but I don't think a camera protector would fit.
Is the back of this case smooth? I like the gripy samsung silicone sleeves becuase the back is grippy, but the tear up fast so im looking for something else.
The back is smooth. The edges all around are grippy.
I have the S24 Plus. The UAG Monarch is nice, but I hold my phone with my pinky near the charger port opening. The edge is cutting into my skin so I'm gonna try the grip. Is it sharp there on the grip case?
No. I wouldn't classify it as being sharp. To me, it is less ridged than the UAG Monarch case I had installed on my S23 Ultra. Thanks for the great question, and thanks for watching.
Same thing happened to me, the S pen cut out is so sharp I sold it, the S23U UAG case didnt have that issue
If I hold my S 24U with my right hand, the S pen port opening on the grip case would be uncomfortable to my pinky finger.There are definitely defined edges there. I normally hold it with my left hand. No issue there.

Indeed. I am not impressed by any of the UAG cases this year for S24 Ultra. Leaning toward Spigen. So disappointing.
@@techreviews.heretoday.gonetomo yep its sad.... yeah here the same issues... or the colors not good. or camera holes. etcetc im still looking now for days for a good nice case but i cant find any goodlooking case for my new s24 ultra:( if you have something please let me know lol ^^

do you recommend to install the little camera covers that are selling apart or with this case is just enough for protecting the phone?
I prefer the case without the lens covers. If you don't like the feel of a case, then the covers are OK.

The magnetic behind is not too strong, so I have to buy an extra ring magnetic to attach
Does the case affecting the signal reception of the phone ？
I have had good experience with signal reception.
It's no where near worth the cost. It's easy on the eyes and it protects - but the exposed plastic spots on the back where there's no kevlar gets very slick and feels slim and gross to the touch from finger prints. Definitely a no go for me.
Sorry to hear about the fingerprint issue. I have had my case about three months now and no issue for me. I will say it is a bit pricey.
Nice review. I agree that this is a well made mug. I got mine through REI. The 40 oz model is tall so that is something to think about. My only dislike? I works great with the straw. I don't think it's a great sippy cup. The lid doesn't fit my mouth that well. It's not as comfy to my lips as my Yeti.

It has a built-in Magnet compatible with magnet accessories. To mount it by itself. No.

Check out the SUP case Unicorn beetle pro. Almost the same but with a kick stand and the cut-out for the camera is different. P.S: Its waaaaaay cheaper too!

I think it is adequate. Probably could stand a little more magnetism, but I have had no issues with it

I've read reviews that the magsafe magnet is quite weak on this one. Be careful and do your due diligence if you're a heavy magsafe user.
I read one review where someone had the case mounted and was traveling on a rough road, and it came loose. I'm not sure about all the circumstances, but something to be aware of.

Yes. I tried to show the edges in some of the shots. However, the ends have a small lip. The edges are about even with the phone screen. Thanks for watching.

I just got this exact case and I love it. Feels great in the hands and all of my magsafe accessories work great with it. Over priced for sure but it's a great case

Are the sides rubber or hard plastic?
I believe The shell of it is poly-carbonate, hard plastic for structural rigidity, and TPU rubber for impact resistance.

Hi, and thanks for watching. Yes this case is out of stock on UAG Website www.urbanarmorgear.com/ Best Buy has only black of this type of case. Cases.com might have it? If not then I would contact UAG Directly, and inquire when they will get it back in stock.
You gotta keep checking every day even middle of night. Few days ago they out the black one put on amazon and they sold out like at 7am and, they were posted on amazon at 2am

@@mcham0846 Thanks for your suggestion. I did seat the lens covers all the way. It was that one piece of dust situated in a precarious spot that ruined most photos. Not sure if a piece was stuck to the adhesive, or what, but doing ok without them.
Great review, I had a hard time deciding between this case and the mous cases but ultimately decided on the UAG after I saw they had that limited edition "Olive" color. I've seen a lot of reviews on s22 ultra cases and this is by far one of the most in-depth reviews I've been looking for, greatly appreciate it!

so how is the grip? is it slippery? because I heard some people say it is slippery. I just cant pull the trigger because of this..
Got the same case uag kevlar. I use camera lens protector from Hoda for iphone 12 pro max, it work well to cover the camera, its name is Hoda Sapphire Camera protector for iphone 12 pro max. Yeah, got the same issue with dust on between camera steel cover and outside the lens, try to remove it, got some tiny crack on 10x zoom camera steel cover, so I just apply hoda camera protectors and looks amazing up to now. I did try esr and other camera lens, the only hoda sapphire keep good image and video quality in low light, and it cost more, 25 usd dollar for these hoda lens. Anyway, This year s22 ultra camera layout design is worst.
Uag has lanyard loop?
The UAG Kevlar Case does not in fact have a Lanyard loop. Some Models of UAG do in fact come with the Lanyard Loop, But the UAG Kevlar does not. With some slight Modification, and the careful use of a dremel tool I modded a lanyard Loop in mine. It turned out well. Unless a person knows a bit about modding. I don't recommend it. I wish UAG would make one available for this model. The ESR has one on it.
I have a amFilm Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G Elastic Skin Screen Protector. Not really satisfied with it. Not really all that protective. I think. Had it a couple of Months now. Looking fr something else.🙄

Any issues with going prtoectorless on the cameras?
None yet. I am somewhat satisfied the camera lenses are recesses enough in the case, that it should protect from everyday use. It is super hard to tell if any dust has accumulated before applying these protectors. After they are installed it is too late. I either put up with a speck of lint inside the lens cover or take it off, and do without. They will leave a adhesive mess on each lens. Just for information😏.

What screen protector are you using? I have the UAG black kevlar monarch and a zagg screen protector and the top edges are being pushed up by the case. Thanks in advance
amFilm 3D Curved Tempered Glass for S22 Ultra Screen Protector Samsung Galaxy. It is a bit daunting, and a tedious process to apply. It does install the same way as Whitestone, with the liquid adhesive, but I prefer it over Whitestone. :)
@@techreviews.heretoday.gonetomo I've tried the Whitestone with my s9+ and got glue all over it. Even with the absorbing pads on the edges. So, I'm hesitant to try another loca glue protector, but I'll look into it! Thanks
@@Weech. It took three tries with the S22Ultra. The adhesive didn't seem to cover the entire screen. The experience with Amfilm was positive. They responded quickly, and sent a replacement quickly. Not sure what happened. I have done several phones with just one application. On the other hand I didn't have a good experience with Whitestone. I have watched the videos on UA-cam for instructions just in case I missed a step, or something changed. I recommend to watch it to folks.
Whitestone and AmFilm works great with Monarch
