Living Traditions on UA-cam raise some quail. But I don't remember how they house them. Merry Christmas !
Congratulations! That's awesome!
Nice eight point young man congratulations
It’s actually a nine pt. 🤓
How many points?
9 Point
@ nice mine was
8
Nice!!!
Breed Them, then use them for meat or hunting purposes, but hunting will require a tilled food plot with corn or beans
Most locations require a permit to raise and release birds for game/hunting
Living traditions eat their Quail eggs.
😢
Will miss them!❤😢
😢
Pretty Sure It's called a Snood. He looks like a Jake, we'll see soon enough. -Gabe
Great video!
I just had one of those the other day and I do not like those creatures
Lol. He ain't aggressive kid, you're poking him so he's reacting. Let him go and keep your chickens safe.
We've never had chickens killed by opossum before. But they like eggs and bugs.
Opossums are egg eaters
Turkeys are quite beautiful!! Love seeing the goats explore their new area. 😊
We had goats for a couple years. But had to many problems with a neighbors goats come to our house. They didn't have fences . So we sold ours and there's. Might have to get a couple again after watching this.
Hope the rest of the turkeys do well. We raised a few of the heritage breed turkeys. But luckily didn't have any issues.
Love the channel! Praying for those turkeys!
Sucks man. Learn from this
wow
How ‘bout Percy?
yeah that was a coon
big john is cool, that turkey that flew up wanted a name too😆
and when they grow up you will likely be able to tell them apart.
awww thats cute
I think you should name him “Feather Abraham.”
thats cute
awwww
awwww thats so cool! do they have names

I love raising turkeys, always the friendliest birds i raise.
That is very cool! I would love to see you make one!
Yes show us
Why do they need that? I know nothing about this but it showed up on my feed lol
Turkeys are very susceptible to parasites ,so it just helps keep them down.
@@HomesteadOnAHill_UA-cam oh ok! I like learning new things, thanks for answering. You have a new subscriber here!
@@nicolemadden3178 yup pretty much all land foul dust bathe chickens too.
@ariaHurd-q8r I had no idea. I grew up in the burbs/city. I'd kill to live up in the mountains off grid someday but man I have a lot to learn. That's why I love channels like this. Thanks for the info!!
@@nicolemadden3178 no problem, I hope it works out for you.
Wild turkeys would take dust baths right outside the big window in my living room, i couldnt see them walk up id just see a big cloud of dust rising up in front of the window.
Hey Noah, so I have a question about gathering eggs. So I grew up on a Ag farm unlike my mom and her family did when she was growing up (where they raised all sorts of animals) so I hope this doesn’t sound weird. So when you go check to see if any eggs have been laid, how do you know if they are alright to eat or need to be discarded? Thanks for taking the time to answer bro!
First if they smell bad then I probably wouldn't eat them, and also if you put the eggs into a bowl of cold water the fresh eggs should sink down to the bottom. If they float then there most likely bad.
Clean your crocs!
Hey got you a new subscriber!! Ready for deer season to start?!
Thanks for subscribing!, I'm very excited for deer season!
If you want to keep chickens without a coop and a bunch of feed you should keep free range game chickens "florida bulfrog" is a youtubechannel with more info about this way of raising chickens
I don't know much about turkeys but I heard DE is great to put in dust baths to cut down on parasites
im still team pigs
awwwww cute! dude you crushed that project!
