The new generation will never experience hanging out like we did back in the days.

I ran across this some time back and thought it was worth sharing. The history of music goes back so far and so much we’ve not even uncovered yet. These guys have a great sound!

Rap is a true art form from the ability to make words rhyme that shouldn’t even rhyme is a skill not many possess. Which is why many literary professors called Eminem one of the greatest wordsmiths of the 20th century. Creating the beat is much harder than playing a single instrument. You’re having to lay down every single instrument in a sequence that makes sense. You can’t just throw it all together you’ve gotta literally know each instrument and 9/10 times you’re using a MIDI keyboard to perform those instruments which is harder than physically holding that instrument. So many artist from other genres don’t even play an instrument nor do they write their own lyrics. Every rapper I’ve worked with or talked to has written their own and in some form has helped create the beat etc. Rappers do it all and get no respect from the older generations.
