Van Halen Soundcheck - Opening Night 2015
Love this Rawness! Sounds like a dream of Van Halen playing in your Garage full blast!
Light up the Sky..Ed and Alex locked in so tight 🤘🤘🤘
This may be my favorite "bootleg" VH of all time... no lie... and I'm a purist! Damn Ed sounds so good jamming without any thought, just a stream of amazing guitar tone!
Chewiest guitar tone in history. Miss ya Ed.
Truth. I read somewhere he used the el34 amps during sound check.
Damn
Gold. especially without the vocals so guitar players can hear whats up. He is so good at the end of his career. the skill level is still super high. Absolutely hidden treasure. It is unreal that someone could imagine and create all these amazing songs and solos and seem to play them effortlessly over a long period. Mind boggling. so unique and you can hear the quality of the notes through his hands.
Dirty Movies is the shit! One of the all time best!
Amazing
Jesus - Randy was right! Hogan DID have lust in his eyes!!
Hogan's heavy breathing and "oh God"'s here over and over and over (and over and over ....) sound like the Hulkster's doing something ELSE to Miss Elizabeth maybe??! - And, of course - that amazing "what's the TIZIME" thrown in there!!
I spiz en kiz-zarny.
I never understood why Macho slapping Hogan was seen as turning heel. He had every right to.
Can see why Hogan went on to become an actor 🙄
This is my own video. There are ads playing before the video? Who's getting paid? This is bullshit?!
Makes me appreciate even more Eddie's greatness. RIP 👑❤️🖤🤍
The Luster sounded like he was pounding cheeks. I had to turn the sound down.
maffew
“We’re live pal”-Jim Ross
The recent Bruce Prichard on the Hogan live mistake brought me to this video.
Solomonster brought me here 😂never knew about the tiz-ime botch
And how is Randy the heel in all this. He was left alone to get beaten up.
Liz is the one that deserved an academy here. How in the hell she kept a straight face through all of this was truly remarkable.
She didn't though. I think she cracked up while Savage was addressing her. It's not in this video but if you look at the segment where Savage tells Elizabeth that if it wasn't for Hulk Hogan, she wouldn't be in this spot, she's laughing.
She cracked while filming the wedding scene with undertaker & Jake Roberts. You can see her laughing as they put the snake in her face
Hogan is corny with the carny
This along with brutus 😂 gotta live live tv 😂
WRESTLING IS FAKE?!? What?!?
The ALMIGHTY VAN F.N. HALEN!!
Hate to bitch, but can't stand when Wolf does the MA backing vocals.
To each his own. I wasn't crazy about the concept on paper in 2006 when the news first came out, but in all of my years of fandom, I never went to a Van Halen show super stoked to see or hear Mike. In all honesty, I thought Dave was the worst of all. Wolf held up his end waaaay better than Dave held up his. Comparing Dave in '07-'08 vs. '12-'15 is just sad. Wolf was always consistent. Dave went from "OK" to "abysmal". I have always been an Eddie fan first and foremost. I went to the all the shows I could during the Sammy and Gary years just to see/hear Eddie. I can't remember one time where I left a show thinking, "Wow! I can't wait to see Mike again!" LOL I look back and I'm thankful that Wolf lit a fire under his dad's ass and got him back out on the road and into the studio one more time and that they got Dave back and brought back the CLASSICS! Wolf gave us three more tours and a new studio album that would have never happened without him being involved. Kudos to him!
He was always on his game. Like they said, On Fire.. Same goes for Alex..
wow deep cuts some of these
Just brilliant by the greatest guitar genius. Rest in peace Eddie.
Eddie’s tone is so good on this tour. He kinda dialed the effects back for a rawer tone. Love it.
Eddie was just amazing. RIP King.
In the early days of touring the most dreaded and terrifying words ever said when VH came offstage was ''OK You guys are on next''
As much as I love Eddie, Alex’s drumming was just powerful and spot on.
This shows how good Eddie and Alex (and Wolf) were together. So tight and on the money, then to be taking requests from those at sound check and playing as if you just popped in the CD? Listen to the nuances in Light Up the Sky, then to do the harmonies too? Unreal! Best band to grace the planet. We as fans were so lucky for almost forty years. God bless EVH, RIP.
Amazing!!
Why didn't VH do tours w/o Dave singing? Reality is 90% of us fans wanted to SEE THE VH BOYS..
Why is there a thumbs down? Makes no sense. This is literally better than 1983-84.
Man, is it any wonder Macho Man flipped out? If someone was making out with my girlfriend's hand and whispering to her I would hit him with a belt, too.
Everyone saying they don’t know why they didn’t do this as a tour etc. With or without a singer, VH def held up that zeppelin esq. mystique. There was no time it just didn’t exist to them. That being said their show wouldn’t have been half as great without a singer they were a powerhouse as a 3 piece but as a 4 piece with Dave or Sammy or even Gary, absolute monster machine. They rehearsed all night for years as a three piece, with a singer that fourth element it was a show. 🖤
I will never understand why Edward/Alex/Wolf didn't join a G3 tour with Joe Satriani and Steve Vai and just played instrumental versions of Van Halen tunes ( including " Baluchitherium " from Balance ). They would have KILLED it!!
Eddie declined numerous times.
@@edwardprete : (
It sounds like I'm walking through Guitar Center
Lol 😂 bruh
😂😂😂 me too
Huh?
He’s speaking that kiz-zarny
The best rock band ever
2:22 Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies. Yeehawwww
Wow! Drop Dead Legs with just the band! So many great tunes!
..still hard to believe Ed's gone ....that beautiful smile ...rest well EVH
Ed was just as good, or better!, at 60, than he was at 30...What an incredible, magical talent he was! 💗🎶
More time to practice!!
He’s on fire here! His tone is so, so good too.
Sorry ment in the 5150 studio of Ed singing on some of those Digital tapes ect.
