❤wowww ❤❤😅
Lovely tour and great country music in the background...👍
Great place to Visit!!!!! Lynchburg, Tn.
I miss being here so much I’m from this beautiful city. Wish I was there but due to rising costs I can’t even afford gas to go down to visit my mother. Was born and raised here til our house burnt in 2015 when I was 17.
👍👍👍👍👍
Knock off the "star wars music" won't buy Lodge because of this.
I love how the tour guide sounded so serious in a way where you didn't know if he was joking or not even though that he obviously was joking.
The only reason why Id ever go to lynchburg again would for the whiskey itself not for the tour guide to be felt like I was packed in a can of sardines and being herded around like cattle and being talked to if I was still in the military lol. I know that they have to do that to keep everybody in order and follow the group but I mean but like damn can't they let you do your own thing. I've been myself before to the Taste of Lynchburg. You would think that if you were paying over $100 a ticket per person and then to buy whiskey at the end of the tour then they would treat you a little bit better but I guess not. Nobody there was an ass but they all just sounded a little too serious.
Absolutely perfect thanks for sharing stay safe sending my full support
Won't ever again buy from that pro kid grooming whiskey company, Jack Daniel's.
Jack Daniels distillery?
I love my Jack Daniel's

Enjoy
Calvaire.... Que c'est ça ?!!!!
Yeeeeee hawwwww
I should live here
If you do go back I would also recommend going to the George Dickel Distillery in Tullahoma, TN just about 30 minutes from Lynchburg. In my opinion I prefer the George Dickel line over Jack, but both are excellent Tennessee Whisky's.
Thx for the tip, hopefully soon will go again and visit George Dickel Distillery.
Great video. Went there whilst on vacation from the UK in 2019, this brought the memories flooding back. The smell in the barrel house was amazing. Must say we got much better tasters....Sinatra, Rye, No27 gold, single barrel Select and barrel proof. It's a must visit for any JD drinker.
Lucky you, we got more "commercial" selection. But still was gooood.
@@eatingdrinkingtravelingbm2502 I'm Going Next Year
We went last weekend and it is was a good tour didn't get the sample of the full proof whiskey at the Rick yard kinda shitty and couldn't go in the distillery house cause of covid that shit ruins everything but I enjoyed it non the less....
Maybe that could be the reason for another visit, still need to do the testing.
Heading to Copperhill for a weeks vacation! We usually stay In the area closer in Gatlinburg an smoky mountains but we decided to rent a cabin in Copperhill this time. Seems like a good place to vacation and plus love the idea of supporting the smaller towns as a tourist. We plan to take a day and travel to Gatlinburg and an do some shopping. Excited to see Copperhill! Heard the people are very nice and friendly!
So I used to live here in my early childhood and I know from the road you took you defiantly passed my old house lol. Seeing this drive and recognizing the things you passed was a trip cause I haven't seen it in over a decade and I remember having to walk to town as a kid. Screw the other guy who left a comment on this saying it's stupid cause this was a trip down memory lane for me so thank you. "missdiorstyle" shut the fuck up, this is an awesome video for people who haven't seen this place in a very long time.
👏👍🙏
Thx
Congractulations. In Brazil 🇧🇷 its whiskey is verry mutch apreciated for brazilians guys and mans.

Thank you Jeff
Nice drive do you have a normal speed video? Thanks for sharing
thx for watching, unfortunately, I have only a time-lapse video.
Don't use paper towels unless you like eating paper with your meal. A cotton cloth with no lint works much better. Personally I don't like using olive oil, I don't like the taste.
I use olive oil to season it but I cook useing butter to sear and canola oil or peanut oil to cook / fry
So I've read the comments and I gathered this , its not the man who made the recipe it is his son. What I see 😳 is that he had to give the son a job to work because he was the only one new his dad's recipes, also I've gathered now who would sale something that was making 🤔 money bootlegging. Because of Jim crow laws back then . so him and his son couldn't start their own business 😒😕. So I'm going to assume that they MIT HAVE made a deal because some of the family works there till this day.. and that he or his dad was not ever a slave. The dad was a old bootlegger he couldn't been a slave bootlegging. Bottom line if anything he gave the recipe to the son to go work at jacks so he can go legit. Question did anybody watch the movie about two black bankers. In the 60's.. need to see it 👀 🤔 then you may understand what I'm saying.
Nester Green made the recipe his son work for jack Daniels. Nester should and gave the receipts him. FYI if you want to learn more look up Uncle Nester whiskey story.
Jack Daniel super
What a stupid video lol tourists 😂
Thanks for your time to watch the video and the effort to leave the comment.

Thanks
The love of my life lives there. It looks beautiful. Can someone go and punch him in the ballsacks from me? Hehe Cheers, from Country Victoria. Australia. ✌️✌️✌️✌️
Ya lost me with the paper towels. I never use them on any cast iron.
Got to use a lint free kitchen towel
Excellent video, thanks for sharing this! I'm using this area as the setting in my novel and I really needed some visual help. Does anyone know what style the houses (like the one at 3:05) and big decorative buildings in the downtown are? I'd love to pick some locals' brains on the environment and atmosphere of this town. You know, stuff only locals know, that kind of thing.
Glad it was helpful!
Are you wanting to be the next Pat Conroy? Pat did for Beaufort what Grisham did for Memphis. Walking around the old Point neighborhood will give you a great feel, as well as sitting on a swing in Waterfront Park and chatting with some of the locals at one of the cafes on Bay Street, whose back porches front the park. Take a trip to Hunting Island State Park, just across the bridge from downtown, or some of the many waterway views throughout the area. It is hard to capture Beaufort by car, as US 21 is not really the "heart" of Beaufort. There are many wonderful neighborhoods around, and essentially this is a friendly small town that is the gem of the Lowcountry. Great architecture, spectacular nature all around, and a very relaxed mode of living focused on water - rivers, ocean, and many islands. I have been to all 50 states (lived in 10), and this is as good as it gets! Several films - "The Big Chill, The Prince of Tides, The Great Santini, parts of Forrest Gump" and others, were filmed here, for its great settings. Reading any of those Conroy novels (there is a Conroy Literary Center downtown) will give you a great feel as well. USC has a branch there, so for a very small city, Beaufort offers a whole lot. If you need more, Savannah is about 45 minutes south, and wonderful Charleston 75 minutes north. Simply a wonderful place, and I hope to live there for at least 9 months a year (summers in NH to avoid the oppressive humidity). The Gullah culture is also a big influence (they have a festival each May at Waterfront Park), and you need to try some Frogmore stew on the island (Dockside, just across the river on Lady's Island, is a great seafood place to try it), or some Shecrab soup or great gumbo! There are some neat walking and carriage tours that would give you a feel for its history, people and ambience. Hard to capture that from away, though there are a number of YT videos that will help. Good luck! There is also a video done on Beaufort, shown at the visitor's center, so perhaps, you could order that from them, as playing it would give you a brief history, as well as a great feel for the town.
