My heart goes out to all the black women who have been devastated over the election however I am a black woman who was PROUD not to vote for Kamala because I truly felt she was NOT the most qualified person...and I like to pose the question, if you had a life threatening illness and you needed to find a doctor to perform surgery on you, at what point would GENDER matter, at what point would her COLOR matter I would beg to differ that the most important thing is the SKILL level of the person so for those who are dismayed on the basis of COLOR and GENDER then my prayer truly is that healing would take place because at the end of the day as the bible says IF GOD BE FOR YOU, WHO DARE CAN BE AGAINST YOU..

💙 Commenting for reach. Thank you for sharing this. Also, and this isn't the point but just to say, I could listen to you read poetry all day. What wonderful and passionate readings. You brought tears to my eyes that for the first time since Wednesday weren't from feeling sick and angry and scared for my loved ones and all the people made even more vulnerable by this wreck of an election. I'm a middle aged white woman so I'm not going to say much, my voice isn't needed here, but I'm grateful that the algorithm brought your voice to me.

Would you think it was racist for a white voter to vote for a white candidate because the candidate was white? Of course you would- and you'd be justified. So why isn't it racist for a black person to vote for a black candidate because that candidate is black?

I disagree with getting comfortable with the struggle we are the only race of people that is asled to get comfortable with the struggle. There are other places in the world where we do have to struggle to just exist. Its time to determine if an exit strategy is needed.

45% of white women voted for Harris. I tip my hat off to them. Now in reality voting for the president is a scam. We the people are the popular votes and nothing more. 588 people are the one who chooses the president. The tradition is for these people is to pick the presidential candidate who receives the most votes in that state. However, they can chose whoever. Since 2020 Republicans started purging voters and rigging the election. Texas, made a law of that basically said anything they find fraudulent they can remove without permission of any higher. The list goes on. People were so focus on trump and wasnt paying attention the governors of red states.

However, I have so many designated accounts right now, I really just don't want another one!!😢 But keeping my spending $$ in the same account where my personal CCs are getting paid for, isn't working for me!! God Bless and Good Luck to us all!!!😊😊😊❤❤❤

Dem party must address base issues that impact daily lives. Gaslighting racial campaigns result in Blacks voting Black and Whites voting White. Dems include ultra conservatives to ultra progressives; possibly out of touch with base majority. Conflicting Issues such as LGBTQ and Christianity, open borders and funding to pay for housing, education and healthcare for illegals, middle class taxes and inflation beset Dem party. One fight people were hoping Dem leadership would resolve is student loan forgiveness. Low income young people still waiting.

I am exactly in your shoes and can’t shake it. I am so mad at the country totally just how do we allow a criminal with zero values or compassion and zero intelligence run our country. American just showed us that values don’t matter. Kamala worked fearlessly she is super strong and highly intelligent can’t believe we completely under estimated her power and what she could have brought to the country. I am shameful and will never believe in Christianity and the hypocrisy they represent how dare you try to enforce your religious beliefs on others.. whatever you are against off you should not have a say on others choices.
