Although I was born to kannada parents in Telugu state, married a Andhra girl from P.B.Srinivas birth place in kakinada, as newly married couples,we went to his home @ pithapuram village,do you know he sang a dr.raj Kumar's song after knowing that I am a kannada boy married a Andhra girl.

priya. if I were u i wud really worry less abt Accent n Language as I do not see anything wrong in it. Immatured ppl post comments abt Language, Race, Religion( I have done that in the school days when i was a 10 year old kid)They pay attention for unwanted things and hardly appreciate any good work. So, dont waste ur time responding to such cooments. Plz look at only good n sensible comments.

Nobody here is Tamil. This anchor was born and raised in America, so she has accented Kannada. Our show is a way for AmeriKannadigas to practice public speaking in Kannada. Please appreciate their efforts and don't denigrate them. If we want Kannada to survive, we must ENCOURAGE people to speak it. So what if she has some difficulty in the pronunciation? Your English is not perfect, but that does not stop you from speaking it. Let's be more supportive. Thanks for watching!

These people are from tamilnadu and acting/posing like kannadigas. This lady is a Tamil reject. She cant even speak proper basic kannada.

Well, the whole point of producing this show is to improve the Kannada skills of young people like me and him (who were raised in America our whole lives). AmeriKannada gives us a platform to use our mother tongue. By the way, the correct way to phrase your comment is: "Please learn how to speak Kannada first." (Maybe you could anchor an American show in order to practice your English, haha!)
