Grapple Saw

Controls are a little goofy, have to switch back and forth. Only control 1 thing at a time, either grapple or saw...with a slight delay between them... so a little screwing around in the beginning of the video.

Hi aiden😂
Where is this at?
Yep, high flow was on. T650 didn't quite have enough flow for forestry head. Got 2 T770's now with Fecon head
Do you have the high flow on ?
Hello , nice to meeting you here !. I have a log splitter SPLIT FIRE 4203 fixer on my mini excavator , a Hyundai R 55-9 and I have a youtube channel to show my work : chene split 😊👍. This log splitter is top but you have to know how to operate the mini excavator well to be efficient and fast.
High flow?
Not high flow on this model, meant to be a high torque slow RPM... which is preferred working close to buildings, people, pets, etc. Still need to be careful but is much more managable than a high flow model. I have used both. If I was just out in the middle of the woods I might want a larger high flow one... but another thing is that I can switch this over to my minii excavator to get to a stump on a steep ditch or hillside that would otherwise be hard to get to with a CTL. On a well manicured lawn I use this stump grinder on my Toolcat with turf tires and all wheel steering so I dont mess up the lawn.
Hey do you by chance know the height of your cab from the ground? Is it under 7 feet high?
Sorry, I sold this piece of equipment, I went back to a Bobcat Toolcat with a 78" Snowblower, and 90" finish mower
looks like you got the second hydro hookups for the shoot rotation AND height, you add that of was it already on the unit. looking to ad either the electric or hydro height adjustment for the chute.
I will say I was always good about letting the regen run whenever the light came on, I would just put it up to full throttle and let it run... when it happens when you are mowing you dont even notice it, but I have had it come on when I was all done and had to let it just sit in park at full throttle for 10-15 min. A local dealer had this cab in stock last winter and my regular snow machine was down, so I had them install it... they just had to find a blower. I had to order the deflector option extra, maybe $500-$800 bucks. My unit only has 210 hours on it, with a new cab and blower... but I will be selling it soon though. I use a Toolcat normally and am ordering a new one. I need the skid plate setup... that way when I run back to the shop I dont need to haul back a skid, I can use the toolcat to load attachments on a trailer. Toolcat is better for my needs, but this F3990 machine is great. ~$36k for something that just does snow and grass with a cab, or ~$80k for a toolcat that I can use for other things too, just the world I live in. I used to have a John Deere 1025r for around the house mowing and snow, but that factory cab sucks... the cab on this Kubota is large and comfortable plus a lot more power than a little tractor. I love that the F3990 has a small footprint in the shop, and I can get around objects when in use... not a zero-turn but close enough for my needs.
It was an addon option. Rotation is hyd, deflector is electrical
brother, i just bought one of these and then found out they are plagued with the same regen issues that the b3301 was notorious for. i was hoping it was just internet chatter but a dealer doing a video on the new f2690 said that was in fact the reason they no longer offer the f3990. have you had any issues, or found a way to deal with regen issues? supposedly it has to do with the DPF canister not getting hot enough to burn off the soot. since im planning on using it for snow removal like you im hoping you have a little insight.
I actually have had no issues with mine, maybe it only affects some machines. This machine has actually been great, and I love the low center of gravity and mowing on slopes. I can spin around on the slope in this machine where with others I have to go straight up and down. I used this as just a mower until this last year when I added the cab and snowblower.
I have this same model and it has been in the kubota dealership 6 times. This spring it was in the shop for over a month. They had 59 hours of shop time working on the regen system and thousands in replacement parts. Thank God it was covered by warranty for the 6th time. When it runs it blows snow like crazy and cuts grass so fast it can launch me out of the seat without a seat belt on.

No issue on my end on the regen, when it comes on I just keep it full thottle till its done with the cycle, and never had any problems. . I had one seal on PTO I had to replace on this machine, but it was just a slight drip. I keep all my stuff in a climatized shop when not in use... maybe that has something to do with it. Besides that just fixed a couple flat tires, and new blades. I am selling this machine, ordering a new Toolcat.
