In The Beginning
Переглядів 4113 місяці тому
At the birth of the universe, a tremor of strings is heard in a crescendo of uncertainty, and the chaos of star formation gives way to the delicacy of orchestral harmonics. "In The Beginning" is part of the Nominee playlist of the Cannes Sync Awards proposed by the Festival de Cannes.
Shattered
Переглядів 1403 місяці тому
Shattered is out wherever you listen to music. Last year I was asked to compose for a special story which led me to leave my comfort zone and experiment quite a lot. Since this project has not seen light yet, I had a special authorisation to share the demo I wrote.
Black Forest
Переглядів 4743 місяці тому
Two friends. A forest. A serial-killing archer. This is the horror scenario for which I was asked to write a demo a few months ago. With the help of the talented @eu.geni.e on the cello, I developed a leitmotif around the strings in two very distinct ways to embody both the hunter and his prey. Mystery, tension, horror and catharsis are at the heart of this piece.

Ramin Djawadi - "The Night King" from Game of Thrones (Mock Up)
Переглядів 5945 років тому
Composed by Ramin Djawadi Arranged/Recreated by Dimitri Daudu This is my take on "The Night King" from Game of Thrones. The great Ramin Djawadi wrote another masterpiece to depict the inevitable march of the Night King during 'The Long Night" episode of season 8. After hearing it, I was excited with the idea of recreating it, and worked pretty hard to get a realistic sound as much as possible. ...

Composed by Hans Zimmer & JunkieXL Arranged/Recreated by Dimitri Daudu This is my recreation of "Beautiful Lie" from Batman v Superman. Once again I decided to work on a composition by Hans Zimmer, joined by the great JunkieXL. Even after his incredible work on The Dark Knight saga, Hans delivers an incredible composition full of emotions and installing new themes for the Caped Crusader. Enjoy

Its an honor to watch this movie
I have more emotion from this version
Hi Dimitri , incredible work . Wishing you all the best for the futuristic music
Imagine, hearing this while seeing morgoth wound fingolfin, fingolfin collapse, and morgoth crushes him under him under his weight, yet morgoth bares the perminant limb fingolfin gave him. Amazing
01:49
1:50 would be perfect when the Balrogs show up to rescue Morgoth from Ungoliant.
When this movie came out all I heard was negative things painting it as being about “a white savior movie going to a foreign land and becoming better than all of them”. That couldn’t be further from the truth though. It’s a very poignant, introspective movie about staying true to your roots and heritage as the world moves on. Honor in defeat and honor in adherence.
فلم رائع بكل المقايسس ❤

In a way, I feel pain for Melkor. He is after all an aspect of Eru. He was meant to create, mold, and begin. Manwe.....was meant to take those works and amplify them. Finish them....imagine what Middle Earth would have been like if they'd all worked together..... saddening. That fall from grace....also screw Tulkas.
It's interesting where the moment comes when everything goes wrong. I mean it's hard to believe that the valar are just do the job but Melkor like "You guys suck, i'll sing it myself". And all stuff that he has, it all belong to Eru, bc HE is the one who gave it to Melkor. I wonder, maybe the others are just... refused to work with him, bc he is confusing and scarying and he is too much different from them
@bradley5305 I feel the same. Just imagine what a fully-whole Middle-Earth would’ve looked like if Melkor had stuck to his original purpose. The world would be so much more… Lighter…
@@alirezaomrani7650 I can imagine them all working together, then this universe wouldn't exist, we would call it the wonder world of the vas instead of middle earth. And this is such a ridiculous thing, why would we dream of this? :D Melkor was right
He who arises in might.
Black Foe of the World MORGÖTH
0:25 took me a week to realize why this is so familiar, finally realized it sounds alot like Terminator 2
This should be the opening theme of the Rings of Power!
I love the reminiscences of Moria and the Balrog at the end of the music
The more I listen, the more I like this epic music
The truth* of Morgoth Just ask Arwen in her final moments.
Would you like to compose for my video game?
Шедевр
Very nice theme on a solid harmonic grid and a sustained rhythm... Congratulations for the musical universe! Good luck !
Wonderfully orchestrated and a beautiful composition. Your music is engaging.
You really did capture the Howard Shore essence with this.
nah, it doesn't emote enough discord
Sounds a bit too heroic to be for Melkor, but still really good nonetheless.
he is already the real hero of this universe
Dimitri, love your work on this cue. The pizz bass descending into the "bride preparation" scene was a stand-out in your score. I definitely feel the tension in the first scene, as I'm so used to hearing others' scores begin much sooner. It felt a bit awkward at first, but that did a great job to build the tension and apprehension, so nicely executed! All the best in the competition!
Great composition here! Good luck with the competition colleague!
Very enjoyable, good job. Good luck in the competition 🙃
Dimitri, You beautifully paint on the movie with your music! I'm impressed how you enriched the scenes! Very original! Good luck!
Really great job, Dimitri. I enjoyed the buildup as the Queen read the papers and sudden silence as the nephew entered. Very nice string writing throughout, particularly during that scene, as the pizzicato bass built tension. (Added mine a few days ago as well.) Best wishes to you!
Hey Dimitri. Lovely string writing in the opening section! Full of suspense and intrigue before a different perspective explored in the Daphne and maid scene! Good luck
I leave you my Like and my congratulations for your effort bro! great job Dimitri! I made my submission this week! Greetings from Argentina and good luck! Where are you from?
You are one of the few I've listened to so far that held off with the music until nearly the end of the first scene. I think it's very effective, the silence really builds the tension. Very nice score Dimitri.
Thanks Tony!
The boss 🔥
Brapo....
And Morgoth came...
Tolkien created music?
Love how the second half of this resembles a more majestic, less primal verion of the balrog theme from the movie. Almost as if that theme for durin's bane is meant to be an echo of morgoth from ages past.
Balrogs are kinda like Morgoth's own version of Nazgûl.
Exactly that ! So good
@@ChristianProtossDragoon but I thought he had his own in the barrow wights?
This sounds like the theme from the hobbit's unexpected Journey, I love but it doesn't give Utumno or Angband vibes, this sounds more appropriate for Fingoulfin or someone gray like Fëanor.
It gives me the vibe of the Battle between Morgoth and Fingoulfin.
------------- 🙏
"Do you believe that a man has the power to change his destiny?" "I believe a man does what he can until his destiny is revealed."
I love this music that captures the wrath of Morgoth!
1:30 best part imo
Muito linda, chega a me levar longe.
Das ams needs to be metal...
Nice. Enjoyed it. I'd imagine something deeper, like the Moria 'drums in the deep', with music to accompany... more sinister
AMAZING!!!!
Bravo 👏
O mejor Serie Of The Silmarillion
Maybe a Silmarillion TV Series one day
A Silmarillion TV series on the hand of a good director and writer who love Tolkien's work or at the very least understand it. However, if it ever happen, we shouldn't hope it will a completely perfect representation of the book so that we can enjoy it (of course if it's actually good), because many Tolkien fans have a VERY high standard for a Tolkien adaptation. And also it will be extremely expensive
Nah let the legendarium like within the books where it won't become corrupted by studio execs.
Absolutely amazing! So grand epic and beautifully mellow! A masterpiece, Dimitri!
