Kendrick once you strip the limbs and put them in a pile do you replant those limbs? It is now just October in San Antonio,TX and there is a Moringa tree on a property that is now 9 feet and the question has been do we cut it down and if so no one knows what to do with the harvest of it or even the care when the winter comes. It was planted 3 months ago. Any suggestions?

For Blonders777: I may be speaking out of place, but I'm guessing that Kendrick would probably rather not put down a synthetic/plastic fabric weed baririer. (personally I wouldn"t) Some of that stuff is cheaply made. (and yet can be expensive to buy) It may eventually wear out and fall apart if you have to walk/move equipment on it much. Some of it can eventually degrade down to a micro-plastic state... never really goes away and is not environmentally sound IMO. Plain cardboard (with no plastic tape or stickers on it and without a glossy printed paper finish layer on it) would work better. Just put it around the base of and in between trees as a weed barrier "mulch". That may appear unattractive at first, but it eventually safely biodegrades and begins to blend in naturally anyway. Better yet, you could just use damp cardboard (Yes, get it wet first) then cover it with a thin layer of mulch or soil ... That would help block weeds from growing through and help prevent it from just being blown away by the wind. It also helps for holding moisture and building the soil. And worms love to consume it!!! (worms are great for what they do for the soil) Just sayin.

Oddly relaxing yet encouraging watching your harvesting/maintenance walks through the moringa orchard.
