Best thing about 100 yard zero is all your rounds hit on or below your aim point. So just remember to aim a little high at close range and you’ll nail it.
It’s hilarious people think they are going to hear a difference when they shoot it. You obviously have no idea why you’re switching that part.
You aren't going to tell a difference in sound one bit, not on that setup, only difference you might feel would be recoil and running smoother
That ruck is extremely busy with all of the buckles and loops to hold everything together. I get what they were trying to do here and I love Eberlestock stuff, however I can see a lot of failure potential at all the connection points when faced with a grunt mentality.
@@turtlewolfpack6061 I agree, the straps and buckles can be a nightmare. Lots of potential for failure. I already haf one buckle fail and I did not pull on it that hard. This system has a lot of features that I do like. Currently, I have pulled the pack off of the frame and I am using it in that configuration with a lighter load out.
@@turtlewolfpack6061 I think the only way they could get the weight of this system as light as they did was to use a thinner material. It definately feels thinner. The Gunslinger II is still my go to pack. If I still wore plates for a living this would be the pack to use for sure, even with the strap issue.
@@xmtgfirearmstrainingacadem4426 I love my Gunslinger 2 but I found the buckles not as strong as they could be. I have mine in the weird digital tropical camo they did for a bit. That pack can seriously be overloaded and still comfortable! I gave my Tomahawk to my oldest son and he loves it.
Sexy sexy sexy. Only if I didn't live in MA
69 yd zero til I die
is there any reason why you are not running 6.5CM? and mainly .308? Just curious, could use your educated opinion and thoughts
@@TheSaltyCpl most of the classes I teach are LE classes and that is the caliber that is used for most LE work. I do have a 6.5 CM barrel for my Kraken and I do shoot it some. If I was just doing competitions or long range shooting, I would definately shoot more 6.5 CM.
@@TheSaltyCpl my civilian classes are about 50/50 split between .308 and 6.5.
@@xmtgfirearmstrainingacadem4426 I see! I am so close to purchasing a Kraken, just not sure what caliber yet. Is your .308 shooting pretty accurately out to around 1000? do you see a huge accuracy difference between 6.5 and .308? I guess I am planning on using it mainly for Big game hunting at around 500yds to 1000yds
@@TheSaltyCpl I think the 6.5 shoots a little tighter than the .308. They are both sub MOA. The .338 Lapua is right around .75 MOA with Hornady 285gr ELD. If you are looking for mainly hunting use set up, I would stick with a .30 caliber. I think they have a long action .30 cal barrel but I do not remember what the exact chambering is.
@@TheSaltyCpl also this is a heavy rifle. It weighs almost 20 pounds totally kitted out, optic, mag, bipod, can.
T
did it come with a nut for the barrel
@@cameronedwards4112 yes it does.
@@cameronedwards4112 and a barrel nut wrench.

@@xmtgfirearmstrainingacadem4426 did you have trouble receiving any parts because everyone is dogging aeros shipping times and customer service
thats a whole lotta nipple right there sir
36 yd zero for 5.56, 7.62/308 up to 600 yd distance.
Great Video! Thanks for sharing.
is that a 20" barrel? awe some content.
@@TheSaltyCpl yes it is.
Wow. Love these videos. Is that the kraken 308? Or 6.5cm?
@@TheSaltyCplthanks, Kraken .308
That was great !!! Good video - and also very informative about this contraversial subject.
OVERPRICED
That placard system makes no sense at all. I want this bad but that Molly placard thing is holding me back
How much does it wobble compared to the CTR? The whole reason I fell in love with the CTR was the friction lock.
@@VulcanGoF once it is locked into a notch in the buffer tube, it does not wobble. If I grab it and rotate it on the buffer tube, there is some slight movement, but not much at all. No movement from placing your head on the stock.
Idk just get the one you like

All bottom screws should go in first and torque to 25 inch lb before you add the top screws. Top screws are then added and torque 18- 20 inch lb.
Hard to not be the best when you're littalry the only company who makes gas upper 300win mag
Hey Clark, any chance you could shoot 5 round groups at 100 then stretch it out. Been looking at one of these for ages but can never find data, or when I do it makes me nervous lol
@@RobbMartini If I still had the rifle I could. This is a buddies rifle and it is now in Alaska. I have had students ring steel at 1360 yards in previois classes. Everyone that I have seen in a class was a tack driver. Is it worth the price? That there is the question you have to answer. I just cant say it is for me right now.
Quit worrying about my fourth amendment right huh?
Do you call it drop when the bullet is still rising?
Charging handle doesn’t reciprocate under operation , please reshoot this video 🤷🏻♂️
Was about to pull the trigger on buying a customizable pack and building it out myself. Then i ran across this system. Been trying to find End User Reviews, but there’s not many out there… i love the design of the Frame System and the swappable bags between an assault pack and medical pack. Already got basic trauma knowledge and I’d love to show up to an intermediate class with a full kit that i would be using anyways that way i can familiarize with the layout and such
@@gryphon1342 I think this pack will do what you want it to do. I have been using it now for 4 or 5 months. I have taught 2 intermediate sniper courses and hauled all my gear in it. It does everything that I need it to do. You are right, there is not much out there on this system. Not sure why, maybe because who the system is made for.
Company!

It's weird there isn't more talk about this pack
I agree. I have not seen much about this pack other than an email when it was released.
@xmtgfirearmstrainingacadem4426 yeah, I really do like the system though. I might get it one day
Bravo!!

@@cb4canes very nice!
I think they are the first company to do so
I’d rather go with a LWRC
LWRC makes great rifles as well.
Except I built my Aero for 700 your about to spend triple that lol
I love streamlight but they need to play catchup on lumens and candela. There is no reason a TLR-1 HL is 1000 lumens and that is only 500. It should he 750 at least.
Lights of this size will get hot and uncomfortable to hold at sustained 1k lumens after 1-2minutes. Around 1k lumens for pretty much all single 18650 lights are set to “turbo” or “burst” meant to be used momentarily and most of these high lumen lights hitting 1k+ lumens step down after 30seconds or couple of minutes max. 300-500 lumens is a sweet spot for constant sustainable output of lights this size. it is nice knowing you have 1k lumens if needed but for user peace of mind knowing your flashlight would never get so hot that there’s a possibility the LED desolder it self from the mcpcb (it has happened to people before) is also a nice feeling.
Thanks for letting us know!
You sound like the CrazyRussianHacker trying to sounds American 😂😅
Sweet.
Sweet dope chart. Great idea
Where did you get the holder for the tactcam?
