There are a variety of brands. A lot are custom builds. Not everyone runs the same car.

Great track! Cool video! I was wondering what kind of surface you used on the track? What options can you recommend? I also want to create a racing track for drifting.
It really is an amazing track, they just changed the layout also... (It's not my track) but this is painted concrete. You can check out their FB page & group - Street break drift. Everyone is super chill & helpful if you have any questions to a larger group of people.
I would love to even have a outdated car from say the 70s and have it as a race at cause it's still a really nice racecar that is bare bones but gives you the top technology that was used back then which is cool and which is why I have a true 1997 NASCAR Chevy lumina cup car that ran in the Winston cup series chassis was built in 1992 and raced until 1997 and I bought it which it still had the original motor from Hendrick motor sports in it and still ran but needed a lot of body work and all the suspension parts restored with brand new bushings bearings ECT and I know have a period correct 1997 NASCAR cup car that makes 755 rear wheel horsepower and have a brand new old stock carb that was built by VDL for these motors back in the mid 90s which is nice to have on it and I have taken it to a few short tracks and rented the tracks out and just run the car as hard as I can cause it's always been my dream to drive a cup car as a local asphalt track racer that dream is hard to come by so this is the closest I'll ever get. I got to run it on the old Atlanta motorspeedway surface before they just re did it and man it was a blast doing 196 mph top speed off into the corners with a restrictor plate or else I would be doing over 200 mph and I wasn't allowed to exceed 200 mph is one of the rules I had to follow whole renting out the track with a really rich friend of mine who also owns a bunch of vintage and almost current NASCAR cup cars his most recent one is from 2011 and I got to drive that car and a cot car and man it was a blast the difference between the 2 cars way they handled and he brought out his 1997 Chevy cup car as well and we did some drafting and raced side by side was a blast I love vintage racing the cars was crazier and louder back then

I would have no clue what everyones running, there are so many different chassis run out there / custom stuff. You could go on FB though, and look up " street break circuit " they have a page and a group

He does an amazing job and has a real vision for layout and details it's quite mind boggling... This layout just got taken down and an entire new layout is being made up now.. How do you get the cars to move? If they are rc cars how do you have that many people to move one?
Each person drives their own car with their own controller. every car is separate w/ separate drivers. I'm not sure if that is what you meant by your question, but hopefully that answered it.
@@carswithaaron that is not possible!?, those radio bands will collided with each other!
@salmonn_gz7987 back in the day that was a problem but that's not even a concern anymore. But even then you could run multiple cars as long as they were not on the same channel frequency. Now transmitters automatically find the open channel and lock it in basically... you can run 50 cars together, doesn't matter.

What are the brands of those cars? Mini z?
No these are larger 1:10th scale. Yokomo , MST , there are a variety. most are all custom built not box stock cars.
I wonder what you have to do to even qualify to drive the track
show up w/ a rear wheel drive drift car and a set of wheels only to run on that surface & you can run it.
@@carswithaaronI meant I'm sure they don't let just anybody on that track I'd imagine you'd have to prove you are experienced and won't go ruining everyone's cars and the track itself.
@@BluManDrew Yes anyone can go there and run. first time people are out all the time. Everyone there is cool, respectful and always helping out.

What scale are these? I’m looking to get something a bit smaller than 1/10 scale for my apartment but I don’t want to have it be tiny. Any recommendations?
these are 1/10. You should maybe look into Kyosho mini z cars. There is a bunch of stuff out there to convert them into drift cars to get the angle, adjustments etc... You can find some stuff here. supergdrift.com/product-category/miniz/

They are a bunch of different products and variety of places to buy. You can check out www.supergdrift.com they're very dedicated to RC drifting and you will at least get an idea of stuff.
