@@bwestacado9643 I'm still miffed that hurricane ruined the live performance at punk summer 24. Both bands were scheduled at the same venue and it was all but guaranteed theynwere gonna perform it live. Now god knows when their schedules are gonna overlap again...

@@maciejnowak666 Hanabie's crowds in Japan and the west are very different though. These kids are fooling around more than anything, but when Hanabie were touring in the winter most of their floors were proper intense. I've always wanted to see them live in Japan, but at the same time I don't really have the stamina for this kinda shit anymore 😅 It also puts off some of their female fans in Japan many of whom avoid indoor gigs...

That was exactly what I was thinking when I watched these clips and uploaded the video half an year ago. And then a few months later I ended up seeing Hanabie live for the first time and Hettsu chose to do a circle pit right there and then! The only time outside of Japan so far. It was also really funny because apart of me and perhaps a couple of others no one knew what was going to happen, so when she began walking through the crowd you could see people being like "Wtf is going on?!" 😅

@omnisemantic1 I love that 😍 I've fallen in love with this band so mandly ever since I heard them last year, I missed the opportunity to watch them live at download festival because of queues and security 😔 the very next time they come the UK I will be at the front row 😂

Yeah, the only Kaika Sengen song they did this tour was Ghost Mania, which is also a damn awesome one - just like everything else in that EP ^^ Pretty sure the reason they picked GM was that they also played it during their Otaku 2-man tour in Japan, where they'd use it to have the vocalist of their partner band drop in and sing the breakdown part at the end. To my knowledge Chika has never played live any other Kaika Sengen track except GM, so she might very well not know these at all... Hanabie's upcoming tour in Japan is an interesting one btw, because they are doing it by themselves and they've booked some pretty large venues this time around (literally 10 times larger compared to the last one in some cases), so I wonder if they'll finally begin doing 90 minute sets. They'll have to sooner or later, especially since they might headline some of the smaller festivals next year.

@@omnisemantic1 Yeah, I've seen footage of Ghost Mania with guest appearances. It is a killer song, too. Well, I like all of their stuff old and new, so I am biased. The new tour info is very cool, because a) longer sets of Hanabie, who wouldn't want that, and b) I am hoping they will do more clubs in Europe (and NL in particular) instead of festivals. Though they already booked two German ones (or 3 already?). Hanabie headlining is the goal, right? That would be amazing.

@@AHSama-qp8yk I'm certain they'll keep playing clubs for the time being, but festival appearances will always be a priority for Hanabie. I'm hoping they'll consider doing an EU tour in the winter like the one they're doing with Jinjer in the USA in October, but with the music from their new record ofc 😁 I really don't want to wait for festival season to hear this stuff live. If they announce any NL headliner gigs I'll be there for sure btw - I lived in NL for a decade and it will be very surreal to experience Hanabie in that setting 🤘

@@omnisemantic1 That's cool that you have lived in NL! I can imagine Hanabie in a full Paradiso, for example. (Including both balconies) - that would be insane. But any appearance in a club in the EU would be great, "beter iets dan niets" -> I went to Jera on Air just to watch Hanabie play for 30 minutes. The other bands were great, too, though. But I wouldn't have gone if they hadn't been there.

@@AHSama-qp8yk Last time I was in Paradiso was in 2018 for Orbital - far cry from Hanabie, I know 😄 But yeah whether it's Paradiso or Melkweg, or even smaller venues that are not in A'dam like Dynamo or Baroeg, I'd love to see them in NL ^^

@@RionaSL No fear involved whatsoever :) Hettsu's been doing these for years in Japan, but it's rare these days cause most shows sell out and there's no space on the floor. Btw Hettsu's original nickname was Gattsu (before she changed the first symbol) as in Guts, as in "fearless". I'm not even joking 😁
