Investigating Heat Stress in Sheep and Small Ruminants
In this research project, undergraduate students explore the impact of heat stress on the physiology of sheep and small ruminants. The study aims to identify effective dietary supplements that can mitigate the adverse effects of heat stress on these animals. Funded by the President's Excellence in Research Scholars (PERS) Award at Tarleton State University, this project provided undergraduate students with invaluable hands-on experience in animal science and research.
