@@WeloveyouDave I believe it stems from an abandoned match at Upton Park when local fans put city fans up overnight for the replay the following day
@@markheyward9724 I think you're right you know ..I remember, must be ten years ago, at the Etihad for the last game of the season and it was exactly the same as it was this time . Great respect and response from city .
i think it was also cemented when west ham won a game years ago that sent city down and west ham fans chanted "youll be back"
