how to spend 5 days in copenhagen | We’ve Traveled to 20 Countries with Kids!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After spending the past month in Montenegro, it’s time for us to begin our journey home to the USA… but not without an epic 5 night layover in a new and exciting city of course!
We have heard such wonderful things about Copenhagen so when we saw an easy and affordable flight path home through here, we knew we wanted to make the most of it!
I love how close together everything is in Europe! It makes exploring new countries easy and efficient.
It’s hard to beat summertime in Europe! This is the second year in a row we’ve done a big European adventure in August, and I don’t think it will be our last.
Where is your favorite destination in Europe?

European Summer Travel with Baby | We Moved to Kotor PT. 4 All good things must come to an end. We had a blast this past month here in Montenegro, but it’s time to wrap things up around here. This video is our last week here living in Kotor, Montenegro with the Boundless Life program. It’s crazy how fast a month has flown by here, and Ocean has officially spent ¼ of her life here in Montenegro!...

Why Montenegro is the Next BIG THING | We Moved to Kotor PT. 3 Is this country Europe's best kept secret? Montenegro hasn’t joined the EU yet which, I think, is why it isn’t as expensive or as crazy as the rest of Europe yet. Don’t get me wrong, Kotor definitely has cruise ship crowds, but I feel like this area is still a bit of a hidden gem when it comes to European Summer holidays. We spent 1...

I’m looking to worldschool my child. I’m extremely unconventional and love to travel & ready to embrace my unconventional nature full force by world schooling my daughter.
Can is. Can is ?? Cah nuh
@@lakeforest2020 took some time for me to learn that pronunciation 🤗
Saaaaame
Wonderful family, your kids are so lively and adorable. I was actually thinking it was strange how the city feels different lately, more light and happy, but I now see it's because you left us with 48 karma points, so TYVM for that 😊 Best wishes always 💙
This is actually the first time I hear about the WorldSchooling Hubs. I'm definitely going to look into this, thank you!
@@messy2mastery oh awesome! We’ve done 3 now- one in Montenegro, one in Nicaragua, and one in the Dominican Republic. We love the concept!
Welcome Back 👍🤣👍 !
@@KHValby thank you! It was a pleasure 🙂

It is such a healthy thing for your family to travel like this. Your kids will maybe not remember all that happened but they will remember the ambiance of each country and they will have wiedend their horisont and tolerence. This is a gift that will last them .
@@Marianne-k4u I wholeheartedly agree! They also won’t remember every book we read to them, but their childhood experiences help shape who they will become as people 💓 it is a blessing to be able to do this with our kids
It's blasphemy, to visit Denmark with kids that age, without visiting the Lego House and Legoland, in Billund. I know it's the opposite side of the country, but you can get there in like 3 hours by train.
@@akyhne oh man!! I wish we had more time. I actually just finished listening to “a year of living danishly” where I learned about that place after we left. I hope to take them on the next trip here 🙂
Icelandic hotdog is not a thing.... It´s a danish hotdog in Iceland. Iceland was a part of Denmark when the danish hotdog was first made, it´s the same hotdog...
@@JesperSandgreen oh that makes sense! I didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing 🙂 🌭
Sorry. But sjælland and copenhagen i not just Denmark.
@@bopoulsen4030 totally! I would love to see more of the country one day, but we just had a few days in the country as a layover on our way back to the USA from Montenegro. Happy we got to see the city!
Amazing experience you guys are giving your kids 😊 And I do hope you enjoyed your time in Denmark 😊
@@kennethAmos8929 we are blessed to be able to have these opportunities, and travel really is the best education 💓 we loved Denmark and look forward to our next visit

Med Lov Skal Man Land Bygge Land must be built with the law In Danish, the words are more or less swipped from front to back compared to the English translation.
@@Gringo80 makes sense! Thanks for explaining
@@LivingUnconventionally Word for word: 'With Law Shall One Land Build' ('One' being the kind of 'one' that would be used in a sentence like 'one would think').
The sentence is the first words in "Jyske lov", which is the first law for the whole country and goes back to about the year 1240.
I’m so drawn to this! I just don’t know if I could swing it financially. I already work online, but the price is a little steep for me as a single mom.
Fair enough! It’s definitely not cheap. The month long option was great for us, but the overall monthly cost goes down when you do the 3 month cohorts. It might be worth reaching out to them to see if they have any scholarships available for you🙂
@@LivingUnconventionally I just saw they are also hiring! I have a call scheduled!
@ oh how cool! That would be such a neat company to work for. I’ve seen their projections for future destinations, and there some really amazing locations in the works 😍
These videos and Colombia series are incredible! Thank you.
I love to hear that! Colombia is such an incredible country. Whenever someone asks us to recommend them a place to visit, Colombia is always the first place we say ❤

Water doesn't have to be still to have brain eating amoeba.
@@nicholasstone4963True, most brain eating amoeba lives in warm, freshwater, yes freshwater not still water. But there is still some brain eating amoeba living in still water though.
@@chiajiegamer2222amoeba can't live in clean water it can't cause the chlorinated levels of chlorine kills it it only live in soil water contaminated water or stagnant water that's not moving and sometimes algae but that it is kinda true cause amoeba doesn't just need to be in still water if the waters moving it's fine if the water is green avoid it

That's too young to take children traveling (esp babies) & they'll never remember it. It's also very unfair to those on the planes who were forced to listen to them - totally selfish.
You simply have problems with kids, my dear! Which is unfair in a plane is people like you. I hope you don't have children!
There is literally a sign at the springs that asks NOT to post them on social media threatening that they will make them unavailable to the public. I get that nature is for everyone, but social media is ruining these treasured spots and soon we will have none left. Gatekeeping is truly what is best for the environment. Let people find these on their own. Please respect the private property owners and delete your video.
So what ! Oh should I say your so lucky !!!!
Adorable 🥰🥰🥰
and learned to speak more slowly so people could understand you? Sorry, but I have no idea what you said for a lot of that, it sounded like a record speeded up!🫤
Pretty cool how they build their homes in the rock
This looks so fun!!! 🤩 Such a cool experience you were able to give your kids and family!!! Love that they have a video project! I bet your kids rocked that one!! 🙌🙌🙌
they had a blast!!
She doesn't think the Netherlands is safe to walk around with her children with all those cyclists around her. Let her walk around where she comes from (not in her car), she can't even cross the street, she walks from parking lot to parking lot without a real sidewalk.
We definitely found the cyclists to be dangerous in Amsterdam as they do not slow down or yield to pedestrians as they do in the USA.
SNEL NEDERLANDS LEREN SPREKEN !!!!!!!!!!!
We found most people spoke English, but we did learn a few words!
Love watching you guys. Your DR videos inspired us and ended up with us moving to Las Terrenas and having our kids at a fantastic international school called ISLA. God bless you guys and keep the content coming!
That is so awesome! Las Terrenas has such a fun vibe - I wish we could have spent more time there when we were in the DR. I’ve only just recently heard of ISLA. Do you love it??
@@LivingUnconventionally It’s an amazing project based school that’s outdoors off Bonita beach. 🏝️ Our kids love it and so do we.
Great fun video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Ouray is a mountain paradise ⛰️
Great video, we are thinking of going to San juan del Sur for a month in may. Can you touch on food costs and transportation costs from the border of CR as well as locally? Thanks
I would say food costs can be as cheap or as expensive as you want them to be. It’s definitely cheaper than Costa Rica which has American prices. In San Juan del Sur, you can find American priced restaurants on the water, but you can also find cheap local food in town. A place we really loved was the ding repair cafe. It wasn’t “cheap”, but it was probably 75% of the cost of typical American breakfast spots, and it was super nice and healthy! We grabbed a cab right away at the border to San Juan del Sur, and I believe it cost us $50 as a family of 4. The ride took maybe an hour and a half
Why are people telling you all these fake stuff you are safe to go and tour Jamaica anytime. It’s like anywhere in the world just be vigilant and trust your guts.
That’s what I like to hear! It seems like the resorts want to scare tourists into staying on site so they just spend money there instead of supporting local economy
Can you tell me exactly how to get here please
I can’t give you the “exact”, but this video has all the clues you need to find it 🙂 happy adventuring!
We camped there last time!!!!!!!!!!!!😂🎉❤
It’s so beautiful up there! We definitely want to go back
Hey I love your videos, I’m heading to Cartagena In a few weeks!!! Question How did you find the boat tours for the islands?? And what restaurant would you recommend to eat in Cartagena. Not a picky eater at all here haha. :)
There were people pushing the boat tours all over the place! We just went into one of the little tour offices and booked it - super cheap! But also, we were packed in like sardines so there might be a better option out there. No restaurants stand out to me as they were all good in the old city area; however, expect them to be more expensive than the rest of Colombia
Next time make more time to travel outside Amsterdam. Amsterdam is a nice Dutch amusement park but the Netherlands is more than Amsterdam.
I’ve heard that! I would really love to see more of what this country has to offer, but with only 4 days as a layover, I think we packed in as much as we could!
My father was born on St. Thomas and I've lived there on and off throughout my life. So glad you enjoyed your time there. The beaches will spoil you!
