Thesps - Act 2
Переглядів 242 роки тому
The second act of Thesps. The Off-The-Wall Theatre Company eventually rid the, selves of their problem producer - and HMS Pinafore seems set to sail serenely ahead with the original cast - plus a chorus of cardboard sailors. But on opening night, who’s sitting in the front row? You guessed - Caroline, their former producer... The show must go on - but how? With Caroline there, Barney can't play ...
Thesps - Act 1

This is Act 1 of my 2-act comedy/farce, Thesps. It was recorded in 2008 at the very first performance of the piece, performed by the Concept Players. What happens when the chairman of the Off-The-Wall Theatre Company brings in a professional producer to take charge of their production of HMS Pinafore? It’s bad enough to have to deal with a slave-driver of a producer who tramples over everybody’...
Anse Chastenet dive

This video was shot at Anse Chastenet, St Lucia, in 2004, as part of my Advanced Open Water Diver course. I was hampered in the underwater sequences by the fact that I couldn't wear my glasses to see what I was filming in the viewfinder of the camera - so it was just pure luck that I managed to film anything at all! I apologised to my instructor for the poor camera work, but he was kind enough ...

This is the best Vid. Of Rocky mountaineer because the other ones just talk about the inside of the car but this shows the beautiful views outside...

I travelled with the Rocky Mountaineer in 2018. It was a great trip through Alberta and BC. The service in the train was very comfortable and nice. Greetings from Germany.I will be back in the Rockies this year!

Nice video. We did our trip in September 2022 - about four months after you - and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was excellent, drinks were freely available and the scenery/photography was superb. There was some snow on distant peaks but the only time we got really close to snow was walking on the Athabasca glacier in the Columbia Icefield (which was part of the extended Rocky Mountaineer tour that we did). On the first day we departed Banff around 8am and had a 1 hour stopover at Revelstoke around lunchtime and got into Kamloops around 8pm that night. The second day was almost a repeat of the first - departed Kamloops at 8am and arrived Vancouver around 6pm. Sadly, I do not recall passing another Rocky Mountaineer train nor the steep gully but the Bald eagle nests were still prominent and we saw bears! Thumbs up!!!

When VIA RAIL did this trip for years it was a money maker too. That's why it's over priced today. Really the glaciers are melted and there is lot of rock cliffs. Enjoy the trip,

I took the passenger train ( Via-Rail) from Vancouver to Calgary in the winter 78/79, 24 hour trip. Spent most of the time in the Bar/Observation car. Words really can't describe the scenery from that vantage point. I had a Coach ticket,.....$32.00

When C.P. had it many wives and children went free and were fed minimum by employees. It was a time when farmers did not have enough land to support families. Many wives and kids headed to Vancouver for a new life. The grain prices kept dropping. Many farmers sold there land to big company who swathed the land and paid them half of the yield. Part of C.P.R. history

My wife and I road this train 2 weeks after this video. The trip is a 2 day train trip from Banff to Vancouver or the reverse , Vancouver to Banff. The train only moves during daylight so you can view every mile of the spectacular scenery. You spend approximately 10 hours each day on the train. In the evening you and your luggage are moved off the train to hotels in the city of Camloops . In the morning(7am) you leave your luggage in your room ,the porter will gather all luggage. You board a bus for a ride to the train where you board the same car that you rode the day before. Breakfast is served on the train as is lunch and supper. GOLD level meals are done in a split dining format as the viewing area seats 72 people but the dining car only 36 as the kichen and restrooms take half of the lower level. There are 2 levels of service on the Rocky Mountainer Gold and Silver . This video is of the silver class..The essential difference between the 2 levels is that Gold sits on the upper level with a glass top (amazing views)of a two level car with the lower part is the dining car. Silver level is served the same food but at your seat and views only to the sides. In the video you can see people standing outside in a porch area, this is only available on the Gold level. I would very highly recommend the GOLD level. Your 3 course meals are served at 4 person tables.

Awesome footage. And that looks like such a docile tarantula you were working with. We also have tarantulas over here in Australia but they tend to be rather grumpy and defensive. Yea I can see that with a surface like sand, it would be more effective to use the real thing rather than a green screen.
