That is very through information on measuring - thank you and excellent for people who live alone. Here is a hint I saw on another video: pass a safety pin through the metal end of the start of the tape measure and pass the other end through this "slit" forming a round. Excellent for measuring all circuar measurements.

Oh, Miss Fina. I thank you so much for this. This is my first time ever doing this. It is a guarantee that, even after following your tutorial, that my bodice block is totally off in every aspect. But, I am learning, so, I will still use it and see what happens. I made a dress form using my own body as the form. The form is exactly my body but I did it with arms. 😩 It is so hard to make the bodice with arms. I am determined, tho'.

Just curious, does anyone know the name of the tool that they're using (the one that's like a ruler and a curve and a square in one)? I would like to get one but I'm a sewing noob and don’t know what to look up.

I used to do FBAs all the time, but to be fair I wasn't as thorough as your video and I am testing a very simple bodies that needed a 2.5 FBA. I watched 3 channels before I found yours. I appreciate how well you presented the material. Thank you!!!

Thanks, I fucked up my corset-tank-top-thing when I tried to tie it, thinking I could just tie it like a shoelace. I was close, but... well it was hideous on the first attempt so that says something. And then I came here and I can try again.
