I'm really glad to see Tarkio College (Tarkio Tech) back. So good for Tarkio and Northwest Missouri. I have a special appreciation for Tarkio. Between having an uncle graduate from there and getting to see plays at the Mule Barn with my Grandma it's a wonderful place. I also briefly worked at Tarkio Academy. It's great to see the campus still viable and being maintained and improved.

It wasn’t far from there I slammed SM fingers in a car door, and RS tried to drive off with him stuck to the car. Looked just like a Saturday morning cartoon. The beautiful Bluff Rd.

My how I miss Sidney. All wonderful memories of the 4 years I lived there. I will never forget how deep the snow drifts got in 1978. Got my Jeep stuck cause it was so deep. Had to get my neighbor to pull me out with his huge 4 wheel drive John Deere. Dumb right? Heck I was from Texas, I just didn’t know any better. I thought a Jeep could drive through anything. I found out that day it won’t drive through 3 feet of snow for very long.

For 340 million years every inch of soil on earth burned at least once every 5-10 years as part of a natural process as natural and necessary as rain or wind . Only since a bunch of Karen’s and dumb politicians in America started saying it was bad and dangerous and the federal govt spent millions on propaganda did humans ever think of fire as bad . What are the long term consequences of stopping something so massive ? When a large forest fire happens the smoke particles go into the atmosphere and travel across the world and have obvious and proven cooling and rain causing weather impacts . What if we are causing the earth to overheat and become unhealthy by preventing this process on such a large scale? Also when a forest is kept from burning the forest completely changes and has smaller trees and more underbrush , studies show that forests that get fire develop bigger trees that are more spaces out and capture or contain 30-40% more carbon . We are totally changing the carbon balance on a massive scale .
