3D Cube Maze Marble Run (Laser Cut DIY)
The idea of this game is based on many other similar personal creations and game products sold on the market with squares and balls. The material I used this time is only 3.8 mm thick plywood using a laser cutting machine. After cutting, I assembled it with glue. The marbles use 11 mm diameter, the same size as the marbles used in the Japanese pachinko pinball game machine. If you have any good suggestions or new ideas, please let me know. Thank you! Pachinko (パチンコ) is a kind of mechanical game originating in Japan. I dreamed of having one when I was young. This design is pure mechanical without electric power. It is mini size (A4) just good on tabletop and easy to make at home (DIY).

Wooden Pinball + Arduino DIY (40x40cm mini size)
Переглядів 246 тис.4 роки тому
Hi~, everyone. Always thinking about to make a mini size wooden pinball machine using Arduino micro-control board. Trying to do it without nice ready made American's pinball machine parts but some tiny Arduino 5 volt module like sensor, servo, stepper and RGB Led .., After many trials and failures, I completed it while learning by doing and got some knowledge from other youtubers. Your comment ...

Is there a way to link several together to move a lightacross a screen? I want to build a horse race (car race) game for people to compete against each other. Instead of putting ball bearings in and getting them out as a reward, the symbols would count for 1, 2, or 3 moves on a lit board using the programmable RGB lights. Each time the number is hit, the light advances the number on the symbol. My kids (one with autism) could play this with the other kids racing. And we do need the code to the above.

Very cool. I would add a little mechanism that puts up a flag when the payout is empty. Pachinko machines have a small spring loaded platform that triggers a "flag", that stops more balls from being launched.

Really well made. You can see how the work, effort and craftsmanship put into it. Plus coding it all must’ve taken a fair bit of time.

It's really nice. If it could automatically load the balls to save pushing them one at a time into the hole that would be great, but I can see that is hard to do with a gravity and elastic band powered mechanism.

There is an arcade in Fishermans Wharf in San Francisco. It contains nothing but working antique arcade games. There is one with all moving parts that are made entirely out of toothpicks. This is easily as much fun to watch as that one was to play.
