Very cool video Lisa. Fun to watch.
@@jameslanders4819 Glad you enjoyed it, James. I need to make some pumpkin muffins and heat up some cider, too ☺️ Any Fall festivities in your area or traditions you enjoy this time of year?
Great video. The interview brought back memories when I conducted MOW crane CL 4031 built by American. I enjoyed working alongside the MOW crews and learned a lot about track structure. I started with the Erie-Lackawanna, went through the Con-Rail era and retired from NJ Transit in 2013. I worked any extra service assignment when I could; it got me out of the passenger uniform so I could keep my skills intact. Keep up the nice work, beautiful lady. 😎😺🚂🚃🚃🚃✝ I had family in Ohio, Jewett, Scio, and Sagamore. The cousins now reside in Arizona.
@@garykuipers2696 how nice to hear about your history working on the railroads and that same area, and your family that was previously in Ohio….exciting work you did with a crane. Glad you came across my channel 🤗
These videos are truly interesting and educational. You belong on PBS televising these unique shows. If you are ever in New Jersey, kindly make contact.😎🚂🚃🚃🚃✝
These are the videos I enjoy watching. You bring the human element into perspective. I'm a retired railroad conductor with 43 years of service. By the way, never tell your age. I thought that you were in your early 30's.😎🚂🚃🚃🚃✝
@@garykuipers2696 oh, wow! 43 years of service! Glad to get your feedback and definitely makes sense that you would appreciate this episode. There’s a sequel, if you haven’t caught that yet either. Jim had a lot of photos of derailments to show me and some other cool stuff. And I will take that as a compliment regarding my age ☺️ and am also totally comfortable with people knowing how old I really am 🤗

You know, picking out a pumpkin for Halloween can be just as stressful as picking out a Christmas tree! Just like you want that perfect inverted ice cream cone shape on a Christmas tree you want that perfect, plump, round, orange, "punkin-y lookin'" pumpkin for Halloween and go nuts trying to pick one out! I'd have a nervous breakdown looking at all those pumpkins at that Irvine Park festival! "What do I DO?" Thanks for bringing us along Lisa! You've really got a knack for finding fun places to go!

@@Balerio2357 thank you for watching, Larry, and for your nice message. Yep, I loved that the museum was also the powerhouse.
I drove a train identical to that one for eight months, back in St. Louis - the St. Louis Zoo Line Railroad, to be precise. Fun times, until vapor lock started messing with the motive power in hot weather! Seemed like we cornered the market on Gumout and Sunoco 260 Octane Boost that summer........

@@LisaKEntertainment Lisa just an after thought here, how is your Dad and any other family doing after the storm that came through. I was watching another video where you mentioned your dad being in North Carolina and thought oh my I hope everything is ok with him. Praying for all of them back there, I am in Central California, transplanted from Southern California.
@@DJPLAST2 I very much appreciate that thoughtful question. All of my family and friends are all right, considering. Some have evacuated out of the area. No one’s home was destroyed that I know of, but a very, very close call for them, and obviously so many have lost their lives. My dad said today, people are coming in the store with heavy hearts, talking about the whole situation. I have friends that have organized donations and are bringing a truck full of things to the area. Access to the area is a challenge, though. I have an episode in my nice to meet you with Lisa playlist of a dirty dancing festival and Lake Lure… my dad mentioned today that Lake lure has boats sitting on top of one another and it is a complete mess. San Francisco is a neat place. Most memorable time was vacationing there with my wife quite a while back. We did get a cable car ride, but missed the museum. @@scottfw7169 that does sound interesting. I am curious to learn about all the different places around the country and world that had cable cars at some point.

Did you know that in 1947 San Francisco Mayor Roger Lapham declared that all cable car lines should be immediately replaced with electric buses to save money. Miss Friedel Klussman and a group of women formed a committee to save the cable cars. Of course they prevailed. Of course the mayor was never reelected.
