Hi. I am trying to follow your instructions to create a cutting plane, however, after I select the object, no "SLICE specify start position" options appears. Any thoughts why this would be?
Great help Thanks
Very interesting. Your tutorials are succinct, direct and clear. (I'm not an engineer or a designer of any sort, just a former VFX artist -- Maya, Photoshop, etc. But, I have a job where learning this is necessary, and your tutes help. Thanks for the good work.)
❤
good
Great tutorial, however I still can't grasp what are layers in the simplest terms
Layers are similar in paint programs also. Look at them as layers of glass, when you have objects drawn on one layer and text on another, you can see all of the objects and text because it’s like looking down the layers and seeing through one glass pane to the next. If you turn one layer off it’s s like removing a pane of glass and effectively hiding the objects on it.
@@oo0Spyder0oo thank you for such a beautiful analogy. I now get it totally. Thank you once again.
thanks
go ahead, very clear explantation
I think you're a very good teacher. There are some things I've learned from you that were hitherto frustrating me. Thanks.

THANKS
Thank you for sharing...❤
I work for the US Gov and am a proj Manager. I have not used AutoCad for many years. I just started getting involved in it again so i can do some consulting when i retire. I was working on a test plan at my home but for some reason a layer I created for Retaining walls is not working. I can see the end points of the Layer but the line work does not appear. All other layers seem to be just fine. What could cause a the line work in a layer to disappear but yet the end points of the layer are still there and I can even snap to them.
GOOD EXAMPLE , PLZ GIVE EXAMPLES FOR ALL ARCS TOOL
thanks
agood explanation thank u very much
Eιναι ίδιο με το openoffice?
Thank you, it's the best AutoCad learning videos that I've ever seen!!
Im having an issue where I can ctrl c and ctrl v, a block on one file and the copied item appears right on my cursor. then on the other file the same copied item appears far away from cursor once ctrl v is activated. Same block settings but different file, How can I ctrl v and have the block appear next to my cursor without having to use ctrl+shift+c command everytime.
