Check out my new engine bay dress up on my C8
I just added a clear engine bay cover and strut bar from Paragon Performance and a Torch Red engine cover from Classic Rules Custom Parts.
Took me about 20 minutes, but it made a huge difference.

The 395 miles indicates a full tanks of gas. I doubt that the dealer would let anyone drive a Corvette 395 miles before the customer takes delivery. My 2023 C8 came with 1 mile.

Pretty shitty the salesman wouldn’t deliver the car because he was too busy. After spending around 100,000 on a car it seems a like he could take some time to deliver it
True, but only 100k for that car?? Here in Norway that car costs 250-300k, damn taxes! No wonder there are only a very few C8's here...

Later in the video, we realized that was the amount of miles left for the gas, not the odometer. This is the problem when your salesman is not there to show you the car.
Corvette was my dream car ever since I was a little boy in Mexico and I always said I was gonna go to USA and im gonna came back one day on a brand new red corvette convertible, 10 years ago I bought my first corvette ever a used 2007 yellow coupe which I still have it looking like new today and it is my favorite car in the world, 9 months ago I went to put w deposit for an allocation and just last month I was called to place the order on which I did specified I wanted it fired red convertible black wheels withe the red stripe around, yellow calipers and red interior, man o man I m soo happy and anxious to get it that I think I m gonna cry when I get it, I saw the video when you got your and man I felt it too, you were soo funny. I also thought someone at the dealership drove your car first and put almost 400 miles. I was getting mad too

I went to a dealer to see how much to order one (1LT). They want $18K over MSRP. LOL
Shop around. There are dealers that will sell at MSRP. Rick Conti in Ohio sells all over the US at MSRP. He has a YT channel. Check it out. Very knowledgeable about Vettes. It’s his passion. 👍
That’s one of the first thing I did to my C8. Can’t remember what brand I used.

Congratulations. I have a torch red 2020 Z51 coupe. I love mine and bet that you will too. My dealer kept mine in the white transportation wrap and let me have the pleasure of unwrapping my car.
We had a terrible experience picking up our car. We would have loved to see it come off the truck and unwrapped it.
@@monymony68 I thought that salesman was pretty rude. Here you were, picking up your dream car that was a done deal, and he brushed y’all off so that he could run back to that office and “work a deal” I can imagine it only got worse from there.
It did get worse. All downhill.

Yes, the radiator covers were very easy to install, but you do need to buy ramps to lift the car. Let me know if you’d like me to post the link of the ramp we purchased.

You can order the red stitching in the black seats only with the 3LT. You have to build the car with it.

Mine comes the first part of next montht... SUPPOSEDLY! After waiting a couple YEARS for it I am a bit hesitant to call it a sure thing.
I will have the same reaction when I get mine next year. Yes make sure it has only factory miles/KMs on it. You buy new, you want new and not 395 miles or whatever.

@chrisperry9002 People buy a Corvette because they like it...not because they can't afford a Ferrari. I myself can afford a Ferrari but chose to get a C8 Corvette because of its rich history.

About a year
Tbh I'd be perfectly happy to have Chevy do the 500 mile break in period before I took delivery of the car. Im the impatient type and would want the full potential asap and that would save me from having to drive 8 hours to achieve it the first day I had the car. 😊 Very nice spec btw.
