Hello there,
My name is Patrick and I am a Learjet 35A Pilot in Command. I operate this aircraft around the world and share my flight experience with you.
The aircraft is configured for ambulance flights, so we usually carry 1 patient and fly her/him home for treatment.
I nearly gathered 5000 hours of which 4000 hours as Pilot in Command and 3000 hours on the Learjet 35A.
I hope you like my videos.

Nice! What kind of map display is that with the touchscreen?
That is a Garmin 750.
Why no takeoff video? And why such a low altitude enroute?
If I remember correctly I wasn’t flying on departure. We were a three pilot crew for that trip. Enroute was standard, 38 000ft to 40 000 ft
Must be an old jet having tip tanks.
Thats true. YOM 1978.
Love your videos! The FSW LJ35A for MSFS is what brought me here. Loving it in VR 😂 I've learned a lot reading your comments, which helps me enjoy the sim even more! Thank you 👍🏾 I've never flown a jet in my twenty five years as a private pilot, so this is the next best thing, lol.
Sounds cool. I’ve tried flying in VR and it is pretty realistic.

Beautiful landing Captain! Very good.
👍👍👍
I flew a LJ35 for 10 years. This brings back lots of memories. Thanks!
10 years is a long time in that tiny aircraft;)
I'm small but flew with many big guys that barely fit. I remember trying to check the fuel quantity indications and I had to move a guy's fat leg out of the way to do it!@@PatrickHeinrichPilot
Magnificent flights and landings, thanks for sharing. I thought all Lear 35s had thrust reversers, this doesn't seem to have one ?
Yes, that’s correct. This airplane isn’t equipped with TR‘s. Only wheel brakes and spoilers.
Truly around the world with Lear 35
Not for me anymore;) changed jobs and live a more relaxed life;)
@@PatrickHeinrichPilot , good for you, brother.
@@PatrickHeinrichPilot Nice, may i ask what kind of job, like is it still related to aviation?
@@thebasic5917still as a pilot, but corporate and on a Challenger. A bit more comfortable than the LJ35.
@@PatrickHeinrichPilot nice keep it up man, I just discovered ur channel after watching ur landing video in Jordan because I'm from there 😆
is his left thumb constantly trimming the aircraft or is that something else he's doing?
Yes, that’s the trim switch;)
RWY 36
nice landing
Hello, you have really nice videos, it would be great you could keep sharing more !! Saludos desde Mexico !!
Thanks! I am flying another type for another company. We’ll see, maybe I can make some new content;)
I flew the Lear 23, 24B, 25, 35A, 36, 40, 45 & 55. Good memories.
Several fatal lear crashes have occurred where pilots made turns in low speed entry. As an owner I forbid my pilots from doing any low speed turns into any airports. I don’t care what air traffic control says. I would rather maneuver at high speed altitude and enter runway straight on, and that is only landing approach I would allow on this plane. It’s pilots clearly don’t know stall speed parameters when turning because it’s much higher than the book says!
Sounds like good advice! If I remember correctly I was flying a standard RNAV approach, nothing out of the ordinary.
Nice landing CPT! It’s obvious that you have done that a few times.👍
Hey Patrick, nice vídeo! One day I will be a Lear pilot! Cheers from Brazil :)
I love the Learjets! I used to live right by the airport in Colorado Springs. I hope to return as an ATC!
Very nice video again. Difficult to understand Banjul ATC because not so good english. Why ATC ask landing clearance from you?
Hey bro. Is this plane modernizd?
What's the cost of filling this jet with fuel?
4000 litres is the maximum capacity. With the current fuel prices you are looking at 2200€ / 2500$
WOW!
Boy you really get around in that old beautiful bird. They must be reliable and robust aircraft. Thank you for the upload, very interesting.
Yeah, pretty crazy aircraft it is;)
Schöner Flug
Danke sehr:)
No uploads from you in over a year. How are you ok?? I am amazed at the distances you push that old Lear 35 to. It's incredible, thing probably does more round the world than the average 900LX or G IV !!
I am ok;) Since there is not much response to my videos I lost motivation to shoot videos.. We do not have many long range flights, so no comparison possible to Falcon's or Gulfstreams's. But it is still insane to fly long range with our aircraft:)
One wonders what's the connection between Serbia and Burkina Faso? That is a very intriguing thought.
If I remember correctly the patient was of Serbian nationality and working in Burkina Faso.
Thanks for all the detail you provide, but I do not fly so some of it is over my head. Still very interesting.
No worries and thanks:)
Subbed. Fantastic upload - thank you. I am a big fan of the Learjet although I do not fly. Question : right at landing and for several hundred metres along the runway you turned your helm some 20 degrees to starboard. Are you actually turning the plane to the right with the flaps and ailerons and tail plane or is that actually turning the front wheel to the right at that point? I assume the former not the latter. Does the front wheel ever turn once the plane is on the ground or does it always stay straight ahead and you steer the plane on the ground with thrust from 1 or 2 engine? Thank you so much.
After landing you turn the aileron into the wind to prevent the wing from rising. You only have to do that in crosswind situations. If the wind is coming from the front you can keep the aileron neutral. We turn the aircraft at low speeds with our nose wheel steering. So normally no differential thrust or braking is necessary.
Just thought I would stop and take a “Gander” at this😜
Very Good😉
❤️
you a really great pilot didnt even notice the plane shaking on landing kudoss 👍👍
Thanks;)
What is your aircraft ??
It is a Learjet 35
Thank you have a nice day
Star aviation ??

I fly for a private jet charter. I fly the learjet 60, 75, and 45. Never the 35 so thats kinda cool to see.
Very cool! Where do you fly? I have never flown another jet than the 35..
@@PatrickHeinrichPilot I fly all around the United States. We get people that reserve private or business jets all across the USA.
@@ChrisRRT that sounds very good:)

Don’t understand;)
@@PatrickHeinrichPilot How long did you take to Foz?
@@r472ricardo Took two days. First day to Teneriffa for a fuel stop, then onwards to Sal, Cape Verde for an overnight stay. Next day to Fortaleza and then to Foz. It was quite a trip;)
Fairly boring bideo.
Fairly boring comment.

Indeed! ;)

If you look closely, you can see those insane climb rates on the VSI!
That’s true. We can make 6000 feet per minute, when the aircraft is light of course.
Thas my beautiful country
Where is the jet before you get to island 2 see plane also what ever else's they're suitable machine
