Kansas had the worst program in the country not long ago, then they went out and hired a quality head coach. Last year they won 9 games and this year they're ranked in the preseason polls

I go back to & grew up in those SWC days. Broyles was the HC. We took A&M to the woodshed all the time back then. THE game was Texas. We would win every now and then. Lots of close games. All the losses to A&M at the Jerry Dome when A&M entered the SEC is just hard to take. We need to kick butt and take names this year. Let’s get back to respectability. GHG.

Top 25, a Bowl, and now I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a playoffs appearance, at least once in a blue moon. If this is not what you expect I don't know why you want your team to suck.

I'm 65 years young and a lifetime Hog Fan, In my life Arkansas is a 60% win football team. My 1st true memory is the 69 Texas game (bummer). What have I learned: On rare occasion, Ark has Great teams 9+ wins, Mostly between 8-4 and 5-7, too often lately <4 wins. Unfortunately, that's the life of a Razorback fan. Ark High School football doesn't provide enough Elite FB players for Arkansas to remain a Top 20 football team year in year out. Top 35 maybe. Arkansas Fans are finicky also; Remove coaches for odd reasons; Ken Hatfield (boring offense win 75%), Lou Holtz (politics win 73%), Bobby Petrino (bad taste win 67%). Grass is always greener. Houston Nutt (60% wins) force fed Gus Malzahn and the Springdale 5. Mr Arkansas, next Athletic Director. Made mad enough to leave for Ole Miss job, Gus-used Ark to get 3 raises, Springdale 5-never heard from again. The good thing was it landed BP and Ryan Mallett. So now Round 2 of BP and a transfer QB (Taylon Green), they'll have me dancing at 7-5. Wins vs UAPB, Ok St, UAPB, La Tech , Auburn and Miss St. Upset either A&M or Mizz. My 7 wins. Yeah I'm drinking the Kool-aid again.

Sure. Based on the fan base and facilities and the conference they play in. Back when Houston Nutt was our coach we were in that range and also when Bobby was coach here. No excuse for falling down to Vandy West.

The BOT and the powers that be running the program don’t care about winning. They don’t. You can’t tell me you’ve seen the product on the field in the last ten years and say that with a straight face. All they care about are those SEC TV checks.

If ark can beat ok st or the sec opener vs auburn, the confidence boost will be critical to the outcome of the season. If we can get 1 of those 2 games to go our way, I believe we'll be going to a bowl

Our offense is tall and big. Qb, rb,wrs and oline. TE aren't the biggest but thier balling skills are off the charts

If we have a repeat of last year, the no, the game should NOT be held at War Memorial stadium ever again. The State Parks did an atrocious job handling the water situation. They ran out of water to the entire stadium, the traffic situation was a nightmare, people were getting overheated and passing out due to the lack of water. LRPD, LRFD, and MEMS were overwhelmed and working incredibly hard to right the ship...but it wasn't enough. If we have a repeat of that this year, then no, never ever hold a game at Little Rock because it shows the State Parks can't handle the influx of crowd on game days.

I too live in the make believe world of fantasy land. Jk I don't. I live in the real world. Arkansas will be lucky to win 1, 2 SEC games at best

Play one conference game in Little Rock each year or don't play there at all.

As someone who grew up in Benton and went to a lot of LR games, it’s long over due for us to stop. The stadium sucks, the travel sucks for a HOME game, can’t normally bring recruits there. We need all the help we can get yet we continue to handicap ourselves

The only part that bothers me is the O line depth chart. Kutas is likely out of football with that persistent issue with his back. If that is the case who is behind Harris and Carmona??

There is too much whining about the depth chart. He has to put one out to keep the media off his back. All the "ors" are there for a reason. Of course, there are probably a few position battles going on but some of it is injuries to starters and some of it is because the kids should be the first to know if they are going to start. Sometimes, they dont know until the day of the game.
