Very interesting and very sad. If you have any stories or old photos, I would love to hear and see them. I find that the DNR is stealing all the land from us to exploit it themselves for the government. We, the people, are not allowed to use our land. Nope. It's their land now.😢

Actually, the government gives the families that lived there at least a couple choices: (1) buy it from them while they are still living, or (2) buy it from them after they die at a said price. This is what happened on Isle Royale National Park. If the government didn't buy it, it would probably be lux condos and all private. We should feel blessed that it is in the public domain.

@@thebohemian86 not anymore,I used to. I beat my body up when I was younger. I have had quads and dirt bikes. Now I have a failed artificial knee and bad back, I wouldn’t be able to put my legs out to go around corners and just stabilizing myself. We have a Jeep Wrangler,and we drive the fire trails,I just go slow and enjoy the views.

This is only a very ruff and safe number. So I don't run out of gas in the middle of nowhere. I say I get 80 mpg. Probably a bit more. However I have hacked the computer on it so it's faster and I have a different front sprocket too. So my mileage is way different from stock now. Stock is in the 90s. I hope this helps. Take care

@@thebohemian86 I see. I thought it was an older, pre computerised model. Those have been in production since, 1957 I think.

Mine is a 2020. I have done a few things to it. And I think you are right or close. 1957 or so and they have kept ture to the old look.

He is rather rad.

Honda says it gets a 100 miles per gallon. But, with my setup with the bigger front gear and the aggressive tires. I get more like 90 miles per gallon. Hope this helps. Take care
