@@jamesdtownsend Yeah, this piece, this guitar and your playing makes me look forward to a time when I will get this kind of music and sound out of my current instruments (ukulele, acoustic ubass with rubber strings, and shortscale ebass). The Taylor GS mini series of compact guitars fascinates me, but at the time I just watch and listen ... Thanks for your inspiring presentation. I also went to the site of Chris Effort: his playing the Cordoba is like making love to the strings ... Must also be this kind of music which I seem to appreciate and desire more and more. I’m not convinced by these ones… and I’m not sure I can justify paying so much for the EJ45LP polished ones… how frequently do you replace strings?

I concur that its way more difficult than it might seem. I've tried learning this song on guitar many, many times and it is very difficult. This was a remarkable cover.

Sonata has solid spruce top (rather than solid cedar of Orchestra) and mahogany back (rather than rosewood of Orchestra). It has a Presys VT Pickup System (rather than the built-in Fishman Presys Blend pickup system of the Orchestra thats has both piezo and internal mic for more natural sound).

@@jamesdtownsend Do those things actually make it better or it just subjective?

@@brianm2022 better plugged in sound, higher grade wood, and better smell! 🪵But we all hear things differently so my advice is go play a range of guitars and buy the one that chooses you 😉
