Hello! I love to hear these songs again. I grew up singing this cantata, and now, as a pastor at a local church in Mexico City, I am eager to share it with the new generations. We have already translated the lyrics and dialogues into Spanish, but we are missing the music. Is there any chance you could share it with me? I am willing to pay the necessary royalties.
I may not be able to attend service, but I do wish I could. These videos will have to suffice, but hopefully I'll be able to come to a service some time in the future again.
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 2 Thessalonians 2:13 KJV Saved from what in this context?
"Your election of God" (1:4). I would ask of this statement - who is electing whom? It needs to be determined by the context. And another observation is that it seems to me that you are conflating election with salvation. Does the context indicate to what end the object is being chosen for? We get into much trouble when we define terms apart from their context.
“For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” {Matthew 24:7} And *the sixth angel* poured out his vial [plague] upon the great river Euphrates; and the water [support] thereof was dried up, *that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared* And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, *to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty* "Behold, I come as a thief. *Blessed is he that watcheth and keepeth his garments* lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, *It is done* {Revelation 16:12-17} <> And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God. For true and righteous are his judgments: for *he hath judged the great whore* which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. {Revelation 19:1-2} Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb *is come* and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, *These are the true sayings of God* {Revelation 19:7-9}👈 ^ Describing events after Armageddon and the seven last plagues.

Such an interesting and also difficult subject. I completely agree that many many places and people in the Bible are historical. Without a doubt. But I'm careful not to say that this means every single thing is historically and archeologically reliable. I mean some things are actually historically wrong. I mean we can't just pick the ones that are right and ignore the ones that are wrong correct? This is just such a one sided sermon on a really important, complicated and interesting subject. Like saying that Moses wrote the complete Pentateuch by himself? Because a computer program said so? So Moses himself wrote about how he died? I mean come on, we have to be reasonable here right? So much of this is just beyond what you can really say. Please stop saying this. It just goes to far. And you completely lose me when you say chariot wheels were found in the Red Sea. No they were not. Just no. Never. And to keep repeating this just makes everything else you say look silly. Please please please stick to what we know historically. What can be proven. You really really go to far in this sermon. It's just to easy to refute frankly.
