I spent a summer camping on my 49cc scooter with hopes of making it my main UA-cam gimmick. Which would've helped me be unique in a world of a million camping channels.
Unfortunately, reality set in.
It is a future goal of mine. It is what I want this channel to become. I just need a bigger/better scooter and a road worthy trailer.
Still having to work full-time, and traveling at 25 mph, really limited how far I could travel from Milwaukee.

I think it's a good idea to remove the seats. I would totally do the same thing. Storage vs weight is so worth it. I wonder if leaving the roof would be better so you have insulation from the heat beating on the roof. May keep you cooler? Just a thought.

Don’t sharpen it will not do anything dull axe is best for splitting. Unfortunately I don’t have anything else to say used an axe all my life and am a senior. I would not go anywhere in wilderness without a good axe most important thing you take in the bush.

You split the firewood outside the tent, not inside. Like splitting wood in your living room for the fireplace.
Why leave a warm tent to split firewood when you can stay warm in the tent? 🤷

That was the original plan, with 2 problems. 1. I don't know if the Benny Hill theme is royalty free music. And 2. I don't know how to edit music in quite yet. I'm still working on that.

Bears don't bother you. 1. Just never keep food in your tent. They absolutely could tear you up. 2 Make sure when your walking around your making noise. I carry my solar weather radio on so the music lets them know where I'm at. Especially when I'm buzzed up at night scrounging wood lol. Follow those rules and your good.
1, I hope you raked the debris back when you left to prevent erosion. 2. A tent without a rain fly is a screen tent, not meant for rainy weather, or any heavy dew nights. 3. The ground cloth should not stick out, because rain would get underneath tent between layers. 4. The pads would soak up water where placed, protect from weather inside tent. 5. Put bags in tent, so they don,t blow away. 6. Overall bad site location if you need to use a rake.
1. I don't think the 4x6 area that I raked will be hurt by erosion. 2. Obviously. 3. I know, but like I stated, I don't camp in the rain, and I have a large tarp that I put over everything for any random passing showers. I like that my footprint sticks out. That way I have somewhere to stand outside of my tent that isn't directly on the ground. If I was a rainy day camper, I would do it differently. 4. Those pads are on loan from a friend. He uses them under his kid's pool in the summer. They're dirty. So I'm not putting them in my tent. 5. Yes. That was something I didn't show. After filming, I put bags in it. 6. I'm confused by this one. Why is it an "overall bad site" if I need to rake where I put my tent? I, personally, have never seen a site that couldn't use a good raking. Kneeling on stones and twigs under your tent sucks. But thank you so much for watching. 👍

I'd suggest a small tarp on the floor to keep the moisture out. Set is as a diamond against your shelter, should close up the moisture gaps. I may also have a cold weather mummy bag I can hand off to you. I'll double check my gear, don't plan on cold weather camping for a few more years.

Jay, you should download things to your phone to fall asleep to so you don't have to rely on internet. :)
That helps with the falling asleep part, but doesn't help with the watching the ballgame and general entertainment part. I need to eventually get a signal booster for the car.

Telescopic hotdog sticks :-) !!! Might be too bulky but the Westinghouse Outdoor Power Equipment iGen160s battery is really nice.
I was looking at power options last night. It would be nice to just have one. But what I've got will probably need to last another season. I need a better tent and sleeping mat first. I'll make sure to try the hotdog sticks on my first trip. 😁
I just looked up the iGen 160s. It's a perfect size and weight for my lightweight standards. It's definitely on the list when the time comes.
