good for motorbikes and kayaks
Just watched your video of the Old Town 119. I’m thinking of getting one for use on Sea Lochs and Inland Lochs in particular, Loch Sunart and Loch Shiel, both local to me. I’m BCU 3* but both these waters can get pretty choppy at times…..what do you think?
I would be causious on the sea, weather can change quickly, and the west coast tide are strong and complex. If paddling alone you would need to be sure you can reenter the boat and bail. As a short canoe 11'9" straight tracking is not so good but manouverability is

What kind of kayak is this?
The kayak are designed for the river. The video is shot from a Pyhrana Burn - a white water creek boat. The others are club boats which tend to not be too edgey and no to short so the track reasonably.

I am kneeling facing backwards - which I find works well in white water

Steady riding Paul and some good line choices. You missed a wet one on Sunday. It was slick.

I truly needed this, as I feel stuck in my life right now and was a big adventure person in the past, but somehow I lost that. So coming across these helps a lot to push me back to the roots.
