This sounds like a very poorly recorded GYBE bootleg
I love the main drone, but there are also cool background sounds that appear and disappear at random.
thanks mr space
You’re welcome. I remember the day I posted this…I was in college and had a final a few hours after the upload was complete. The class was Morphology (I was a linguistics major) and part of the project involved poking a hole in the morphological theory of your choice using the language you picked and then proposing an adjustment to the theory. The language I had selected, Manam, was basically the poster child for the theory (lexical morphology) I was working with. All semester I tried to find some way it violated the theory. I succeeded with hours to spare. I rendered and uploaded this video at like 2:00 AM the morning of instead of working on my final. A few hours later I went to the coffee shop in the university library, and then I _finally_ found something I could do. I did well on that final.
I wonder if my cat knows he’s the main character
@@sophomorphia Does he hate Mondays?
@@man_in_space he loves Mondays! He hates capitalism. He is indifferent to lasagna.
Wonderful trip to other worlds
im home
Oh. My. Gooaaawwwdddddhhhhh
this is my favourite BoH release as of now. i love the buildup that starts at 8:04
Beautiful piece of music. My neighbour was born in London
What a great fun fact thanks for sharing
Why did you feel the need to say that.
thanks for letting me know
@@AForrest1314 it's important to know
based on what
One of BOH's best drones imo
underrated drone
Niesamowite
ive listened to this in full several times now, makes for fantastic background noise and probably BoH's signature song for me :)
The idea of BoH even _having_ a signature song amuses me greatly.
@@man_in_space i mean, if there ever was one (discrediting their hilariously long releases of course; sorry n!) this is definitely it thank you for uploading a good chunk of their catalog, appreciate it!
🎉😮😂🎉🎉😂@@SuperFromND
one of their best, and its not particularly long either so its a lot more digestible than BoH's usual fare
Dylan Carlson playing Skullflower cover in Barn Owl garage. Amazing song. Gotta love that gritty sound.
Play the video at 2x the regular speed, it’s way less painful 👍
I take this comment back, I like it normally
this sounds like someone microwaving a fork while in an elevator
lovely
Team Poopfish theme song from now on
FACTS!!!!!!
based BoH listener
Probably their best.
huge GYBE vibes here. this slaps.
After a whielwhile still flipping amazing.
This sounds like something Cicada 3301 would record if they picked up an electric guitar and such. Not letting this one go.
it definitely resembles inter-something or whatever it’s called by them
2022 👽🌍🔥🤟🤙👉
Lol
Угу
Amazing song
39:12 just saving this for myself before i come back
Did you ever come back?
@@man_in_space i don't believe i ever did! just checked back, and i'm still right where i left off...i'm thinking about it. it's funny you ask, this track was not my kind of thing two years ago, but is especially something i'd enjoy today. funny where time takes us.
@@cjsawyer “funny where time takes us.” Indeed. If you’d told me twenty-or even just ten-years ago what my life would be like now, I would have thought you were trolling me.
@@man_in_space damn right. hope you're well these days
@@cjsawyerHey. Sorry for the late reply. I had good holidays. My health is not so good; then again, it never is. Been thinking of starting a record label again-but then again next week I’ll probably be trying to write a screenplay or something. I _am_ alive and in one piece.
listening to this and "Like a Wall" at the same time is kind of neat.
which section of Like a Wall
@@shapeovertime6364 Reading this cracked me up quite a bit. Like, it’s at the same time a totally reasonable and a totally absurd question.
@@man_in_spaceWow, you're still active on this acc
@@utqiagvik1991Yep. I’ve been thinking of starting it back up again, again with the Creative Commons and public domain schtick. I do comment on here with some frequency.
@@utqiagvik1991Also, are you from the City Formerly Known as Barrow? How are things on the North Slope these days?
Полное гавно даже на песню не похоже
The 10.000 year clock is actually an elaborate opening for one of their upcoming but never ending live albums.
Beautiful!!
I wish Bull of Heaven made more music like this. Although, if this is all they did, I probably wouldn't be here.
They did, but Clayton Counts died last year.
hi armin
@@man_in_space could you name me examples cheers
You would probably like post-Clayton BOH. From what I understand, Neil Keener did most of the post-rock albums and the guitar things for the ambient albums, while Clayton made ambient sound using music software. So, without Clayton, Keener just does rock stuff.
@@__-kd1sn There were four stoner rock tracks with latin names or smth like "Irato" "Imperioso" "Insistendo" from 2013.
It is very hard to believe a band this good is so unknown. A crime.
I forgot how good this song is.
niiice
amazing...
beautiful song !! RIP Clayton !!!!!
heaven !!
Damn, this stuff is even more underground than the Earth's inner core. Somewhere deep it lies just like the sound, deep enough for people to reach one like on this song...
I feel you!
+Raw Who Hey, a comment! You bring hope to this upload.
Reii is amazing, the calm chill tracks and the breakbeats are 100. Hey you should also check out Low Orbit Satellite if you are into Reii! :)
+Raw Who I know him haha! I like his work very much too. I don't want to sound like a hipster, but mainstream is dog shite compered to this artwork. Hey if you're interested in Ambient, check out my tracks as well.
LOS put out some new albums just today I think haha haven't checked them out but Their gonna be great!! I wish Reii would put some new stuff too :/ Totally this music just evokes so many feelings when listened to.
Bull of Heaven??? No way, this has to be an unreleased demo from Godspeed You Black Emperor!
I fuckin know right? Hahaha
Great ! Wish it was released on double vinyl someday . . .
Will Porlem I dont think they do vinyls but thats a good idea i just dont know you can get "on the edge of doom" on vinyl though its like 12 hours straight lol
Will Porlem There are places that can do that. One Cut Vinyl comes to mind. You’d have to split the file up yourself into four sides though.
@willporlem7493 Did you ever end up pursuing this?
@@man_in_space No , I guess it'll take long if any of their allbums ever get a limited edition on vinyl .
@@man_in_space Yeah I had in mind it would just include an 80 something minute " excerpt " to fit in ... maybe even a triple gatefold .
This guy is from the same distant planet I was born.
There are no words.
kind of like neurosis playing a show on a cloud and me listening to it from the ground
Nah, dood. It sounds like Dylan Carlson playing Skullflower cover.
omg exactly
love it
Epic song. One song that never gets old.
So simple, so understated, so lovely.
One of my favorites from BoH. It really takes your mind somewhere else. An impressive journey. Outstanding.
Wow! How come this wonderful piece only has 19 views? added it to my playlist
