This is my complete ice fishing setup for my 2023 Skandic LE 600 efi.
Built with linq bracket to facilitate removal.

Salmon fishing is now my favorite fishing to do. The fight is crazy! Is the skandic tippy? I have seen comments that the Tundra is. ALSO, CAN THE SKANDIC be used on groomed trails, or is it better for off trail riding. Thanks
Wicked set up!
Great setup for one person day of fishing !! Only bad part of the build is the auger mount ,,, for two reasons!, 1ST IS THE KNIFE IS TOWARDS THE DRIVER if cover fells off if the machine rolls on the side drivers good chance your cut wide open ,,, makes for BAD DAY....2nd auger motor facing towards the rear all of the snow from track and blizzard from behind covers the engine ,, other then that great job👍👍

It’s a base plate made to fit the Milwaukee packout to the Skidoo linq system
Where did ya get the Helix 5 mount?
It’s a regular helix 5 bracket installed on a skidoo glove box extension.

A lot of effort to try and keep the machine travelling in a straight line eh? I honestly feel mine is borderline dangerous. I have yet to try travelling with a passenger but I imagine it will be a nightmare. Im going to buy the wide ski skins to see if it will help.
Getting used to carve with a 20inch wide was different at first. Now this machine is a beast. Deep snow breaking trail with ease, not tippy at all. 2 up in deep snow with no issue.
I wonder how those boxes affect the center of gravity and tip-ability of the sled?
Skandic are the heaviest utility sled ski doo makes. They are one of the most stable sleds around. The tundra on the other hand is very tippy.
Going 70-90km/h on the lake is no issue. Slush, ice and deep snow with ease. So far so good

They’re summit toe holds. Dealer said they’re the same.

South Simcoe Machine has packout plates that adapt to linq mounting
Nice set up. Just a note for others I ordered the auger mount for my 2022 Skandic WT. I also have the Linq 135 L box you cannot use the auger mount with the box. I ended up returning the mount as I already had the box. Still searching for good mount for my sled I prefer to have the auger mounted in the front of the sled, so it doesn't get covered with snow. The box is awesome but ridiculously overpriced.
I believe you can install the box on top of the auger mount. You’ll be using the linq of the box to secure the auger in place. I’ve seen them together but haven’t tried it myself. Good luck with your setup.
@@joprooutdoors I tried every which way to mount the auger rack even asked the dealers service guy and he didn't have an answer. I bought Kolpin Rhino Pro grips and mounted to the side bumper. The grips are made of aluminum and are very rugged auger fits perfectly. At 80.00 significantly cheaper than the Skidoo auger mount any way. Any of the Skidoo accessories are ridiculously over priced but are very good quality.
@@danlevecque7203 I just picked up a Ski Doo Expedition SE 900 Turbo with the 2 up seat and big box. I agree the BRP auger rack is ridiculously over priced. I've been think of mounting a Digger or Jaws of Ice to the rear side bumper. Would like to look at the Kolpins you got. Would you have a link to those and a pic of how you mounted yours? Thanks!
@5199je The mounts are called Rhino Pro Mounts . I don’t know how to add a picture but my cover photo shows them on my sled. Good luck.

Hi there my name is Justin and i love fishing i live about 5 minutes from this lake and i am very new to bass fishing and i only caught one bass all summer last year. I am a bank fisherman as i do not have a boat. I know that fisherman like to keep there honey holes secret but i don't know any shore fishing spots that i can fish from. If you would be interested in helping a fellow angler get into the sport it would be very much appreciated. Great video and happy fishing.
Justin Cammidge Mississippi lake is the honey hole for most of my walleye, perch fishing and pike back then! So many different spots on this lake produced quality fish for me over the years, the best advice I could give you is to hop around boat launch to boat launch until you find some decent water to shore fish from, I’ve never fished this lake from shore but I’m sure you can find a spot or two! Also if you can get your hands on a cheap canoe/kayak that can be a game changer, I do 75% of my fishing in a kayak and I love it!
Those are magnets on the sideplate and they should not be oiled

If I have a recommendation for you, move your GoPro to another location or keep the reel away from the camera, can't see anything while you are fighting the fish.
