Making Sound Waves with Electricity and Why it's Imperfect
Newtonian physics dominates the conversion of electrical energy to sound pressure.
In this video I build on the concept of phase to show how the laws of physics require phase changes to occur inside a speaker, and how those changes differ based on frequency. We'll also introduce the the concepts of resonance, sensitivity (efficiency) and electrical impedance.
No engineering degree required!

My goal with this video is provide an introductory perspective into phase and help demonstrate why it's so relevant to audio engineering.
Why using subs behind the mains for monitoring is problematic

Brief video illustrating why using TH115s in the monitoring system creates a huge problem for monitoring equalization and why 1ms of delay really does nothing to fix the issue. Danley Direct file will be shared in description as soon as I complete the UA-cam verification process.
Hey, this is great stuff! Found this out of nowhere and learned something. Thank you!
Love the graphics. Thanks for the great explanations
