Very accurate comparison!!! I have the 102” Skywing ARS 300 and feel like what you observed about the ARS applies to the 102” size. I’ve also heard of others saying that the wing shape of the ARS is good for IMAC.

I am not sure about using loctite, its non conductive so by using it its causing a non conductive contact area between the screw and the connector

Is it safe to say that at this scale you can now get the same or better thrust to weight ratio with electric? That looked pretty capable to me. Trying to find where the crossover point is in aircraft size where you no longer get better thrust to weight with electric.

Great build demo. !! Question: Were all the servos and receivers powered by the ESC's BEC ? I.E. No separate 2 cell lipos were used to power the servos and receivers ? I want to build a similar size 3D electric and I'm concerned about what is the best way to power the control system?

Thank you so much Kyle !! This really helped me. I was trying to do throttle calibration with a Scorpion II 06-120 and a Spektrum DX9. I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work. I used your trick where you power up the RX first. I used a l2s lipo but it goes though a old Align separated box to power up a RX with a lipo, so its only outputting 5.8V. I use it all the time to power a servo tester. So I powered up my AR637T first waited for it to initialize. Then put the stick to 100% (throttle sub trim at 0, linier throttle curve, enabled to the throttle stick) plugged in the main battery and I heard the beep, lower the stick and hear two beeps. un plug. Done. Now return the throttle sub trim to -100. Finished. THANK YOU !!

Nice flight and very good flying plane for being electric powered. Love the sound of the prop when you get on it, almost sounds more like the real full-sized aircraft. The prop really barks.

Is the thin ZAP CA you're using Foam Safe?

Just to clarify, is the esc pre soldered with a battery connector, or are only the bullet connectors for the motors pre soldered? Just wondering because the photos on the store dont show a battery connector on it. If it does come with a connector, what kind is it? XT-90?

Hi, for a 84" 12S PilotRC Slick what motor, kv and prop do you recommend?

I am preparing a 114 inch airplane with the same motor. In the video, it appears that an electric propeller is used. Is there any problem if I don't use an engine propeller? How did you attach the electric propeller to the engine hub?

The most important factor you never mentioned is your radio and receiver setup. If you are using vbar then try something else for a fair comparison

Hello nice review, I really like the ARS300, but I’m not a 3D pilot. Do you think it’s worth to buy it just for sport flying and do some basic maneuvers like rolls, loops, inverted flight and some knife edge…..thanks

I have the tribunus 06-80A, programmed and installed in RAW 420. On Sproto it shows the throttle goingb from 0-100% but no power to the motor. Also no beeps at all. But i have a solid green light. Any suggestions?

I fly 3D mostly in electric but wanted to get into the 120cc class and I always get told go for gas power, but I dont want to the hassle of gas. This setup gives me hope. Is the power system already on for sale?

Always Mount speed controller on the right side of the motor box for maximum Cooling & do not run air ducts.. .

If it ain't electric it just ain't. Electric power just has too many advantages over glow or gas!.. .

That was not a hard flight. I'm not surprised it wasn't hot. Get on it for the entire flight then give us the temps

You can just let the tail wheel swivel. On some models I prefer it actually

Running the Pro PNP Combo on a 60" AJ Laser at 4,800 - 6,300ft elev with Falcon 17x10 Carbon prop. Outstanding power and only 90A max at full throttle. Love it!!

Does this fly with 4s lipo? i have a few 4s 2200mah lying spare
