Just do stuff you enjoy! One thing is: long form videos will benefit you long term. shorts will up your view and sub count, but won't really help in the long run. Try to do a bit of both to gain a steady viewing while also setting urself up for later success.
another thing you should do is go to youtube studio and make this video your trailer so its the first video anyone sees on your channel page
