Sr config just doesn't work, it doesn't clear the console, i put every single file right and it doesn't work

Thanks for the tutorial! I was challenging myself to beat the whole Portal 2 with +forward command and without using any directional keys. I couldn't get to the spot with the levers. Even if I did the fling correctly I wouldn't have enough momentum because I was flying through the bottom half of the portal. I watched the guide, shot in the portal placement helper, jumped down and made it first try into the lever floor.

in the ending area with the one spike plate, you can avoid the spike plate all together if you fly far enough to the right wall. Unfortunately that means that the door will only open once you get to it instead of earlier

if you have 4 digits for your angles, using around -55.5523 167.3800 seems to work for me

This level is REALLY hard to do if you aren't pretty good with bhopping. If you can't do that well, I'd suggest learning it more or just skip out on speedrunning this level until you do get better at it.

dang I can't believe out of the 100+ times I've played portal 2 I never realized you could just do that 0:35 to skip the entire laser thing

Does this require the speedrun mod?

what if you wanted to use a non approved model for the portal gun in a speedrun, would that not be allowed, or would you just have to submit the model with the speedrun like the textures?

i dont know if anyone is going to help me since this video is old but the sar command cl_crosshairsize does NOT work it just wont resize my crosshair and i dont know what im doing it wrong. i put it in like cl_crosshairsize 5 or something like that for an example

One thing that is missing in reportal route: you have to start holding D somewhere in the middle of flight to jump from the pipe.

Great Tutorial, can now semi consistently do single strafe bhops thanks to it, still can't do the proper bhops, usually just completely lose all momentum and hop in place when I try those, but I'd like to think I'm getting it, thanks again

where do you get your saves for every chamber in the game? i've been wanting to practice individual chambers but it's kind of a pain playing through an entire chapter and being able to just load specific ones would be really nice

im copying the srconfig stuff to the cfg file but some of them don’t show up edit:i added mtriggers but nothing happens in the game

the only chamber of cap 1 and 2 i cant get (on beginner) i just never manage to get into the portal

when autosubmit submits a run, on board.portal2 it doesn't tell me what place i've gotten. Is it because my time is way too bad so it doesn't go on the leaderboard or is there a different reason?

if this doesn't work for you I recommend following this tutorial ua-cam.com/video/mYHSds32e7w/v-deo.html , but ignoring where he tells you to place your crosshair for the portal you intend to get stuck in. It worked much better for me for some reason.

you said not to use freescroll, and i get why, but is using free scroll just to make it strenuous on my finger because it takes less force to use the scrollwheel still bad? like im scrolling the exact same way i would if i wasnt using free scroll, it just takes less force to move it and so i dont strain my finger as quickly. otherwise im not sure i can even do a single full run without getting some kinda injury.
