Really? You think that hawk would attack you? They've dive-bombed people before, but that's not an "attack". They don't make contact. They just swoop above the head. The only way you could get hurt is if you moved around like crazy, then the hawk might accidentally hit you with its talons. But it wouldn't purposely do it. If you give the hawk time, it'll respect you from now on!
